WTF Wednesday December17

Re: WTF Wednesday December17

  • WTF work turning the heat up. Normally I wouldn't complain because I always freeze especially on midnights, however I'm now getting sick due to the temp increase, headaches and nausea are not fun when having to deal with grumpy and drunk guests. Also, thanks co-workers for giving me a cold just before Christmas :(

  • @aa122584‌ epilepsy sucks. Luckily been seizure free for a bit but still sucks.

@nikkijo3‌ I'm sorry. I laughed harder than I should've. Wtf was he thinking? Glad you're making him pay for it. My brother did stupid shit like that. He owed my parents so much money before he had a job. (We didn't get allowance).

  • @cwiceangel‌ I'm thinking he will need to be declaring bankruptcy soon at the rate he is going. That kid has no common sense.

And @mrsjack53‌ I have no idea how he is going to function in the real world. My DH and I have been doing everything we can to prepare him but it is quite apparent in his case that the frontal lobe is far from developed. I can only hope one day a light bulb will go off and he'll start to get it.

@Scarlettg‌ you are probably correct that there is more to the story but I feel safer not even going there with him. Ahh the joy of teenage boys.
  • @nikkijo3‌ If my brother wasn't 28 I'd say they were twins... He's got no common sense. My brother is a genius (like borderline rain man) but he's so stupid. Hopefully the light bulb goes offer sooner than later. My brother still hasn't learned and there's really no reason for it.

  • WTF obgyn.  Prescribes me medicine pre-emptively to keep me from having contractions because we found out my cervix is a bit short.  I have heart palpatations, shakey hands, immediate lethargy and when I go back the next day he's all "lol that's normal, just try it for a while".  Thanks for the warning and what is probably unnecessary misery three times a day (but I'm also don't want to risk it because because I'm a noob FTM).

    This is the balls.
In your situation, I would probably get a second opinion. Those side affects would make me more nervous.

Wtf DD while you were supposed to be napping and letting me nap, you took off your shitty diaper and got it everywhere.

Gosh I HATE that. My DS did if consistently for several months. I got to the point where I thougt Id be cleaning poop off the walls forever. What finally stopped it? A cold shower.

....am I the only one over here like

About giving their kid a cold shower?
It wasn't COLD. But it wasn't nice fun play in the tub temperature either. When he first started playing with poo Id draw him a bath like I always do and it turned into playtime not we have to scrape poop off your whole little body because you were having way too much fun instead of sleeping.

I wasn't being cruel. A nice warm shower would have scared him out it too. He didn't like the sprayer.

Edit to clarify, warm enough I would have gotten in a shower that cool

Oh, well excuse me for taking "A cold shower" to mean "a cold shower."  I must be an idiot.

My bad. You're not an idiot and I wasn't trying to imply that you were, sorry if I came off that way. All cleared up now?
  • Late to the party but...

WTF to everyone who has an opinion on how I should give birth. People find out I'm using a midwife and I get a lecture on why I should have chosen a doctor. Same goes for me wanting a natural birth, I've had so many people say I should opt for a c-section. WTF. SHUT UP. Stop having an opinion about someone else's body, labor, and delivery!!! I give zero feels how someone else wants their birth story to be (meaning I don't care if you want a c-section or want an epidural, it's your body/baby, do what you want!), so why does everyone have to argue with me on mine??

    Breathe.

I had one of my cousins random friends who has a son ask me if I was going to give birth vaginally or get a c-section to not mess things up. I'm a FTM with a regular pregnancy so I said "people only get c-sections if they're medically necessary" and he looked at me like I was crazy. Wtf who even are you anyway dude?
  • My WTF is about my co-worker. Dhe tells me shes so excited for my shower & already got my gift but it's not from my registry. Um wtf do you think I made the registry for??? There's somthing in every price rage. I know I should be grateful for any gift but it's really annoying! Stick to the list!!
  • WTF Co-worker:
Today at work, we had a pot-luck for our "Christmas lunch".. we had a pasta salad that had a tiny bit of feta cheese sprinkled over the top of it. Best pasta salad ever, I might add. As I'm eating, a co-worker who's wife is current pregnant also came in to tell me very dramatically "YOU CAN'T EAT FETA CHEESE!" ... .... Mid- bite. K, well, a.) the amount of feta cheese actually on the serving that I got of pasta salad is less than a fingernail b.) the pasta salad came from a restaurant who I'd bet uses pasteurized feta cheese only (as the majority of feta cheese sold in the US is pasteurized unless bought at a health food store/ farmers market/ etc) and c.) MIND YOUR OWN DAMN BUSINESS? It really just irritated me. Maybe he meant well, I'm sure he did, but please don't comment on the things that I do during MY pregnancy just because your wife is pregnant and you think it gives you that right.
People are annoying.  I walked into work the other day drinking the white hot chocolate from McD's (it was gross, don't waste your money) and this girl I rarely talk to yelled 'YOU CANT DRINK COFFEE" at me.  First, I didn't ask you.  Second, its hot chocolate.  Third, I don't see you saying shit about the diet dr pepper I'm always throwing back so piss off, I do what I want.

You should of seen her face when I told her I eat sushi too.

    lol, that's hilarious...an sad.

One of my co-workers had a baby in March, and she basically cheered when she saw me having a cup of coffee the other day.  She knows how much I've missed it due to the MS and heartburn, and we chatted about how it would hopefully help with the serious constipation (it did).  Good times, lol

  • Even though it's Thursday I must add wtf kid at work. Just because you lost at pool doesn't mean you should throw pool balls at everyone then whack another kid with the pool stick. I don't feel like being hit thank you very much.

I work part time nights/weekends at a travel agency that is RIGHT next to a sushi place. Man do I love the looks I get when I walk over there on my dinner break and am waiting for my food to be ready. The employees think it's amusing, too, and don't quite understand why pregnant women are told not to eat sushi. I must add that I do stay away from tuna and any other fish that can be high in mercury, and this place is VERY reputable...
