Nickname for Jocelyn

I love the name Jocelyn, but I really want to have a good nickname for my baby girl. I was thinking about Josie (pronounced Jo - c). Do you think that works? Lots of people suggest it, but I don't know if it really goes. It seems more like a nickname that would go with Josephine, but I don't like that name nearly as much as Jocelyn. Thoughts?

Sure, it works. My college roommate is Joce.lyn and goes by JoJo. Her daughter is also named Jocelyn and goes by Joc.ey (pronounced Joss-y).

People may naturally go with "Jo" as well. Lots of cute options.

I think Jo or Josie both work.

Any of the suggestions sound fine to me- Josie, Jossy, or Jo.  Jocelyn is a great name!

Cute!  I have also heard it pronounced like Jaw-c.  I also really like JoJo.

I know two Jocelyn's.....one is sometimes called Joss, and the other is 3/4 of the time called Jojo

Josie works for a nickname. I went to college with a girl named Jocelyn but she went by Lynn.
