Can I have some hugs?

Today I have to go get my levels checked to make sure they're at zero. I know it's silly, but I really can't bare the thought of going back into that doctors office. I'm sitting in my car in tears right now, feeling like I may have a panic attack.

Not sure why it is bugging me so much, but I really don't want to go inside.

Sorry for being such a wuss. I don't know whats gotten into me today.

Unfortunately, I'm sure many women on this post including myself have felt the exact same way.  It was not easy going back in the doctors office the next couple of times after my initial visit with my MC.  Just know that you have our support and hopefully soon things can start looking up.  More (((HUGS)))

You can do it! Just think about how relieved you will feel after. I know it sucks, but you just gotta push though, and you got this. 

I had to do it for 6 months after my first loss and it pained me each time. You're totally not a wuss. ((((HUGS))))

Thanks ladies. I know I'll be ok. I just don't want to freak out in public, lol. I should be used to it by now, but I guess @whitneyandconcep‌ is right, the unexpected things always get me.

((HUGS)) I think we have all been there.  It is never easy to hope for a zero on these tests, I know I felt worse each time the levels went down because it reminded me of the loss.  Take your time, it all sucks.

Oh honey, I'm so sorry (((hugs))). If you have not gone in yet, call your doctor's office and let the receptionist know that you are in an emotionally bad place. Ask them to bring you straight back to the lab.

You just have no way of knowing what your trigger is going to be.  My OBGYN was really understanding of stuff after my losses.  He's mentioned a few times that he knows it's likely difficult even coming into his office with my history.  He's right!!!!!  Be good to yourself.  Sending you lots of hugs.

I totally know the feeling. It took a long time for my betas to go back to 0 after one of my losses. I felt like every time I had to get a blood draw, I was reminded of how sucky my situation was. Big ((hugs)). And lots of luck for 0 beta!

Thank you all so much. I made it in, and they were nice enough to put me in the sub waiting room. It was quick.
Still sucked, it's a small practice and a few people asked me how I was going which of course made me cry more.
Hopefully I am all done and don't have to go back for a while.

I was the same way so you aren't alone. I am so glad they put you in the sub waiting room! My Office forgot I was in the waiting room for a quick blood draw and I had to sit out there for 45 minutes!

If it makes you feel any better, I cried when I went back for my 6-week appointment post-D&C. I had to walk past the sonogram room where they told me I'd miscarried and it was like a punch to the stomach. The doctor thought I was a big weirdo for crying.

Same thing happened to me- watched women who arrived after me go in. I ended up crying in the waiting room.

Lots of squishy hugs. I'm glad the office was able to work with you. I had my first new gym appt last week and I completely dreaded sitting in the waiting room. I was a mess but luckily I was the only pt there, woohoo.
