Potty Training

"potty" to delay bedtime?

I imagine this is pretty normal, but would love suggestions on how others have handled it.

LO (24 months) still wears diapers but she uses the potty every night before bed as part of her bedtime routine, and goes every time.  After potty, we brush teeth, put on her diaper, put on her PJs, read a story and go to bed.
Lately, she has been asking to go potty a second (sometimes third!) time, right as it is time to put her in the crib. So I have to take off her PJs and diaper, take her to the bathroom and put everything back on after she goes.  And last night, after being down for 10 minutes, she started crying, and after I gave her a few minutes to stop crying on her own, I went in to check on her and she popped up and said cheerily "potty!".

I'm pretty sure she is using this as a delay tactic to avoid going to bed/get me back in her room, but she is also managing to produce pee (and a tiny poop!) in the subsequent times she is going.

While I have no trouble telling her "no more water, no more story" or whatever else she is asks for to delay going to bed, the potty one gets me every time because I want to encourage her to ask to go (she never asks to go during the day yet).  But 3 times in half an hour seems excessive, plus I don't want her delaying her bedtime so long, nor do I like feeling like I'm being manipulated!

is this a phase that I should just indulge for now? Or do I just let her go one additional time, and then tell her to use her diaper after that?
Other suggestions?
