QFP

What is the motivation for this. I am curious. Is it because you think the poster will edit their post to something else?

To me, it makes sense for someone who is being inflammatory and might change it to something else after people report them. However, I've also seen it done on "boring" posts that are not that special and I was just wondering what the goal is.

This is not a criticism. I am just trying to learn the psychology of it.

  • Technically, a quoted post could be edited by the quoter to say anything they wanted, but they probably wouldn't get away with it.

I need to know how to pronounce your SN. It sounds like "shuh-DEUCE" in my brain.

I guess if it was "proper" it would be like... "sha-dough?" I need to know. Help me.

OHHHHHHHH... Shadow? Did I get it??????
Yes, like Shadow. I was player a character called a shadowblade in an online game years ago and since I also like French, I came up with the faux French word as my character name. It's been a good username ever since because it's not something anyone else uses.

The most common mispronunciation is "shade-ox". :)

So I was mentally calling you Shanadu. I don't have a good explanation for this.
I loved this movie when I was a child. How could you go wrong with Olivia Newton-John and roller skating. When I watched as an adult, it was not very good, haha.
