I have a business making handmade soap, lip balm, perfumes , etc- which I mostly sell online (also to a handful of stores, and occasionally at craft fairs/festivals.) It's been my fulltime job for 5 years now.
I'm an emergency response logistics planner for an engineering firm (which I hate). I started out in event planning (which I love) and have done some wedding planning too. I also have my real estate liscense and was starting to to work as an agent but had to put that on hold as we are moving out of state.
I'm a research coordinator for an Interstitial Lung disease clinic. I recruit patients to participate in non-pharmaceutical research studies and I draw clinical and research bloods. Lots of paperwork, blood, and talking to the elderly. If it werent for the one-way hour commute, I would completely love my job.
I'm a physical therapist. I specialize in orthopedics, sports medicine, aquatics and vestibular rehab. I'm also an adjunct professor, teaching in the PT department
I'm a full time dental hygienist. I definitely see my job getting difficult towards the end. Idk how I'm going to see patients teeth over a big ol belly lol
I am a title clerk at an RV dealership. And for fun and extra money I have an Etsy shop as well!
I'm the office manager for an RV dealership...don't you just loove out of state titles lol.. I'm also in grad school working on my masters in human resources development and training.
@sams1girl If I never saw another title in my entire life, I would be okay with it.
I'm a dental hygienist. I've been kind of MIA since Thanksgiving but I'm going to try and not just be a dirty lurker.
@amandachristine518 is this your first pregnancy? It gets difficult at the end but is doable. I worked until my due date with my first. Full mouth x-rays was probably the most difficult thing just because I was big and slow. I work in a perio office so obviously lots of SRP. Some areas were difficult to reach but I managed okay. The other difficulty was not being able to use nitrous. Good luck!
Right now I work at a preschool, but in January I will be starting my dream job! I will be taking care of lions, tigers and bears (oh my!) as a zookeeper. I'm so excited to go back into the field!
I'm a PA (physician assistant) and I work primarily with geriatric patients at the moment. After baby comes, I'd love to be a SAHM with an Etsy shop for a little while, but more than likely I will just be looking for a different (less stressful) job with more reliable working hours. I worked in pediatric oncology during my rotations when I was still in school, and that was my absolute dream job. Hoping for that again one day.
I'm a PA also! Currently working in primary care for a least 1.5 more years which is not my fave. Was in Derm after graduation and hope to get back there or peds!
I am an assistant food service director at local college. I am in charge of the dining hall and feeding over 1200 residential students. I previously worked at another area college where I would plan weddings and high end parties and I had so much fun doing that but the hours were outrageous. I am loving what I do but can't wait to find an opportunity closer to home.
I'm a SAHM for the time being, I was a hairstylist for many years in a former life. Can't wait to get back to that field when: 1. My kids are all in school, and 2. My husband retires from the Marine Corps and we live in one place for more than 2 years.
Re: GTKY: What do you do all day anyway?
I'm also an adjunct professor, teaching in the PT department
