Progesterone questions

So lucky me, I get to start my progesterone suppositories tonight, woo hoo!  For those of you who have taken supplemental progesterone in early pregnancy, what fun side effects do I have to look forward to?  I was in such a rush to get these bad boys home that I really didn't ask any questions at the pharmacy.  Thanks!

Me 34 DH 31, Together since 2003, Married August 20, 2011,  TTC since May 2013
BFP #1 August 24, 2013! MMC discovered Oct. 3, 2013, D&C Oct. 4, 2013
BFP #2 December 17, 2013! MMC discovered Jan. 28, 2014, D&C Jan. 30, 2014
Testing done: male with complete Trisomy 16, not hereditary. Tested me for clotting disorders, all normal.
Feb. 2014 all clear again to TTC!  Will start progesterone supplementation with the next BFP just in case.       Oct. 2014 more testing just because, thyroid and autoimmune panels = normal.  Diagnostic U/S = no abnormalities.  Will keep trying for 3-6 more months, doctor still optimistic!

BFP #3 December 11, 2014!  Beta #1 14DPO = 122.4 Beta #2 17DPO = 296.8 Please stick little one and be our Rainbow!

        Perfect little heartbeat of 156 seen 1/7/15 :)

    I started taking them right after O and I have had a bit more bloating and my boobs have been more sore (and the gross discharge, of course).  Overall not bad.

    This. I was given permission to stop taking them at 4w2d, and after a day or two, my boobs hurt significantly less.


     

    TTC since July 2012 
    BFP 5/22/13. Lap. to remove ectopic and dx with endo. 6/16/13

    RE consult: June 2014

    DX: FVL, endo, hypothyroidism, blocked left tube

    Oct. 2014: First treatment cycle: Clomid+trigger+IUI=BFN

    November 2014: Clomid+trigger+IUI again=BFP!

    BFP 11/28/14 MC discovered 1/14/15

IVF #1 Oct/Nov 2013: Long Lupron with Gonal-F. 7R, 7M, 7F. 2 txfer@3d. Nothing frozen.  => M/C @ 8 wks. :'( Selected RPL panel all normal. Very hyper and brittle response to stims. IVF #2 (antagonist protocol) Feb 2014 => Converted to IUI (Perfect conditions). BFN. IVF #2.1 w/ new RE June 2014: Antagonist protocol. 33R, 31M, 30F, 19 blasts to test!!! I made it through without crashing!! :) Hats off to Dr. Fancypants!! ET of one 5AB blast. BFN. 13 10 CCS'ed snowflakes! FET #1 PUPO as of 7/29 Betas: 8/7@24, 8/9@97, 8/11@334 (etc.) Two sacs on 8/15, one seen on 8/18 after a bleed. U/s 8/25 (6+3) "perfect": 5.9 mm + HB@120bpm! U/s 9/4 (7+6): 15.9 mm + HB@172 bpm! Please, PLEASE stick this time!!!!

    I think it just exacerbated my symptoms which were pretty minimal to begin with. I was tired, a little nauseous and had aversions to all food. As soon as I stopped taking them at 11 weeks I felt so much better. Overall it wasn't bad! Good luck and be gentle with your lady parts when you wipe the gunk away throughout the day.

    It magnified first tri symptoms for me- bloating, fatigue, increased hunger, and sore boobs.

    This was me also. Add to that nausea and food aversions, all of which went away once I stopped them.

    I took the oral pill version and the first night I got really dizzy. After that night, no other side effects for me.

    Yep, this exactly!  It is kinda, well, gross. But besides that, no side effects for me.  I'm did the PIO shots as well, and I like the suppositories better. They aren't too bad.

    Thanks ladies!  Day 1 wasn't too bad at all.  Though I'm only taking them at night so maybe most of it gets absorbed before I'm up and moving around.  We shall see!  But if it gets me a take home baby, I don't really care!
