TTC After a Loss

~*~Our March Memories Check-in (12/15/2015)~*~

Hello Ladies!

FYI: There have been some recent changes with the check-in schedule. Our Memories check-ins will now be done on the first and third Monday of the month. To encourage more activity on the main boards, we ask that you not respond to the original post after a few days. If you have an update, please send me a PM and I'll take care of it.

Welcome to the TTCAL March Check in. If you had a March EDD or loss date, no matter which year, you are welcome to join. If you haven't already participated in a check in, please post an intro and tell us a bit about yourself and why you are here. It will be posted weekly. If you get a BFP please send a PM to @Cheetara2. If you do not send me a PM I will not announce your BFP to the group.

The check-in list reflects those who have previously posted an intro and checked in recently. If I removed you in error, please let me know! I recently took a few people off of the check in who haven't posted in a few week. Please feel free to jump back in at any point!!

Re: ~*~Our March Memories Check-in (12/15/2015)~*~

  • Thanks for the check in!

I had a wonderful birthday even though we got a pretty major snow storm that day. That's the good thing about having your best friends also be your neighbors! I submitted all of my coursework last Thursday and my surgery was on Friday. Doctor said "it couldn't have gone better" but only time will tell if this fixed the fluid problem. I have my follow up on 1/5 and am hoping to get a February FET date.

QOTW: cheesy but I love Mariah's all I want for Christmas is you!

  • Hi ladies! Thanks for the check-in @Cheetara2, how are you?

@Frenchteachermama - I'm so glad your surgery went well and that you had a great birthday! Hope you can relax and enjoy your holidays. FX that you can do a February FET.

@Holdingouthope - Good to see you back but I'm sorry you have been struggling. I think the holidays can be really rough. (Hugs)

    ***warning - other's pg mentioned***

AFM, we decided to TTA this cycle. I don't even know entirely why. Partly because I need to get some dental work done at the beginning of next month and I wouldn't want to do it if I was pg because there are a lot of x-rays needed to complete it. But I think it has more to do with the mood I am in lately. I am just really having a rough time and just couldn't handle the thought of a BFN right before the holidays. So my H and I just agreed to take this month off and start trying again after the new year. I'm really dreading Christmas because I got a pregnancy announcement in the mail from my cousin yesterday and I just can't even imagine having to sit by and listen to everyone being excited for them. Plus they are much younger than my H and I and have been married for two years less than us, so I know the family will automatically start asking us when we will be having a baby. I just feel so overwhelmed. Sorry for the vent!

    Married: 4/28/12
    BFP: 7/2/14 ;  1st US 7/21/14 Baby measuring 7w5d, HB of 138;  Discovered MMC 8/18/14 at 11w2d, baby measuring 8w5d, no hb ; 8/19/14 D&C

  • Thanks for the check in @Cheetara2‌ . Surgery is bright and early tomorrow morning. I just did a whirlwind cross country (literally coast to coast) tour from Friday- today, so it's been exhausting. I cant believe the date is finally here, and I'm just praying all goes smoothly. Hugs to all!

  • @Frenchteachermama I'm glad surgery went well. I love that song too, no particular artist though, they all seem to do it justice.
@HoldingOutHope Glad you're still with us. I hope your stay with the in-laws is better than you expect it to be.
@ctk181 Sorry about the pregnancy announcement. I hope there isn't too much hype about it at the family gathering.
@Laurao11 I hope surgery went well and you have a speedy recovery.
@kcrkcs Good luck with the OPKs.

AFM: All is well. I'm on CD4, so we'll see how this cycle plays out. Looking forward to the the holidays and a break from work. We have an ornament on our tree with our angel's name on it since this would have been his first Christmas. It makes me teary eyed when I look at it, but it does make it seem like he's apart of it nonetheless.

Thanks for the check in - I haven't been around a lot. I'm struggling right now.

I'm 13dpo and had a few BFNs. AF is due tomorrow and as long as there is no temp drop I will test tomorrow morning. Honestly, I'm starting to lose hope.

ctk181 - I postponed dental work last month and went ahead with it last week, because I knew I was in my 'safe window' at that time. I get the whole dental situation. I hope yours goes well.

Cheetara2 - it sounds like your angel has a very special place on your tree (and your heart). What a lovely tribute to him.

LauraO11 - I hope that everything went well!

HoldingOutHope - sorry that you're struggling. ((hugs))

    - glad to hear that things went well!

QOTW: White Christmas - because I love the movie.

  • @northernkhaleesi ((hugs)) Still hoping this is it for you.
