So, you add your own random thoughts.

1.  I told my husband not to spend any money until I balance the checkbook.  I just ordered my sister's boyfriend's Christmas present from etsy.  Oops!  #doublestandard #byweImeanyou

2.  I accidentally sewed BigBoyChug's cub scout patch on the wrong pocket.  I need to fix that right meow.

3.   I'm thinking maybe I should curb my coffee intake.   I haven't had it since before my wisdom teeth extraction, and I notice my anxiety is less. 

4.   I hope other people actually participate because this place is DEAD.

I offered a coworker a ride to her hometown for the holidays, which is where DH's family is. Problem is... I totally didn't take into consideration all of her crap she will want to put in our car - her luggage, presents, etc. We have to bring us two, our puppy (and his crate, food, bed), our suitcase, and our gifts. And, it's all got to fit in my Corolla's small-ass trunk.

So, while I feel like I'm doing a good deed, I kind of regret being so damn nice.

Realized that apparently at my workplace, staff members give small gifts to each other at Christmas. I didn't know this... I have now been given cookies, muffins, a cross-stitched custom bookmark, and several small ornaments. I have no idea what to get everyone. My only idea is some donuts and coffee...

@ChuggingWater‌ - we're just starting to try for #2, so I haven't been super active over here in over a year. And I'm so busy, especially with work, that I don't usually get on more than once a day.

My sister made cupcakes in a jar from pinterest and she said they were good.

cupcakes =/= salad

Cupcakes are pretty sure to be yummy even if they are a hot mess.

Salads could get soggy.

I should be working but I have absolutely no motivation and TTC >35 is dead so decided to try and get active over here since I intro'ed a while ago. 

Wondering if I can get throught he rest of the afternoon without doing any real difficult work... I'm a slacker today... 

Chipotle sounds amazing. 

No weiners... too many small ones at the Christmas party... in BBQ sauce.

I tried a bunch of recipes for steel cut oats recently, including a few overnight ones. IDK, none of them came out right, they were all completely inedible. I'll stick to old fashioned.

But that is usually what newbies get flamed for.  Discussing the same things that have already been discussed.

I lost my shit the other day.

My grandmother passed away in September. We were super close and she loved christmas. Over the weekend we were watching that old claymation "The Year Without a Santa Claus" and the song Blue Christmas came on.

I have a picture of her sitting on the bookshelf and Kieran came over with a toy and said "here grandma" and put it next to the frame.

Cue ugly cry.

I think I'm going to spend some more time here.  There were just a lot of trolls shortly after I intro'ed and we didnt' have them on >35... but lots more going on here so I'm going to try to do both.  I have lurked quite a bit and LOVE the "personality".

I don't bother posting on those because I have nothing to offer. Other than those it has been dead lately. I've been happy to see some BFPs recently - some of them have made me cry Hope the posts turn for the better soon!

my random is to AW the awesome sandwich I just made. It was Colby jack and honey bbq chicken on Sourdough. I totes want another one.

Also, I had so much to do outside the house today but DD is cranky so I felt a nap was more important (we got in at 10 last night from my parent's house). Now she's refusing to sleep and I still have all this stuff to do!

Realizing perhaps I should have gotten my co-workers a small gift.  I did last year, and feel that once you do it, you can't go back.  Will they expect something?  IDK.

I fucking love Wade Goodwin from NPR.  His voice is amazing and I just love him and every story he does.  I'm always so thrilled riding to work when I get to hear his voice.  I wish more stuff would happen in Texas so he would be on more.
