My 7 week old fights sleep!!!! He sleeps maybe a few hours per day (broken up)+

I've never had a newborn awake so much & he is colicky so he cries most of the time that he is awake and then he gets overtired so it's not a good combination...anyone have a baby who does not like to sleep?  He will go a few hours at night...I think probably because he is so drained from the day.  I hope this passes.

I feel for you so much. It ruins the experience of bonding with your little one when you're both exhausted and miserable. Hugs.

This!!!!! My first 5 weeks were hell. Non. Stop. Crying. & he never slept. We were both miserable. Then he got diagnosed with reflux, a week ago & now I have a little boy who sleeps 12 hours at night (two 6 hour stretches) and takes a few naps during the day too!
