I have the Kiinde system but quit using it when LO was about 11 weeks and started refusing bottles. When I was shopping around for them, almost a year ago, they were relatively the same price everywhere I looked (i.e. Target, Babies R Us, Buy Buy Baby, Amazon). I liked how convenient and easy everything was. I was able to pump into the bags with no leaking issues, the "bottles" were easy to put together, and LO took them quite easily with no nipple confusion. What I didn't like about the system was that pumping directly into the bags meant not knowing the exact amount pumped/drank and the bags took up a lot of space. Once LO started refusing bottles, we had to experiment with other ones. We just never tried Kiinde again after that.
I bought it for my LO born January 2014. I ended up hating pumping in general, but the few times I did I did not like this system for the reason mentioned above. There was no way to know how much you were putting in there! And then if she drank straight from the bag and ended up not finishing it I felt like it might waste it all! It's not ideal with how BM storage rules work.
