I hope to get a lot done today. We need to get dog food, groceries, clean up around the house, and finish laundry. My SIL is coming over this afternoon to hang out with DS so I can be more efficient with my chores.
Also, sorry about the positions thread. I honestly thought it would be helpful, but it seems like it was the opposite. Boo vaginas after babies. :-q
DH is going to the patriots game today with FIL. I was like oh I will hang with baby and MIL. Stupid. I forgot what a long day football is. I will be at her house from 10-6. Kill me now.
Why do I try to dream feed? Most of the time, C wakes up half an hour later and wants to comfort nurse. I might have well just pumped to comfort again and gone back to sleep.

I had to take a shower in the kids bathroom last night. There is something really wrong about washing your lady bits with your kids smiley face wash cloth.
We took the twins to see Santa yesterday & it was great, no tears! Then DH & I went to this little coffee shop & drank lattes, again no tears! We then went out for lunch & they slept the whole time! So we got brave & went grocery shopping! I had to nurse them both while we were there, NBD! Poor Alex though, she had a major poopsplosion right as we got to the check out! That was first time that's happened, not fun! All in all it was a successful day!

The most adorable thing happened! S was hanging out in his swing, and my BIL put on a gift we gave him early - an ugly Ranger's Christmas sweater - tons of red and blue and patterns - perfect for baby. S got SOOO excited when he saw BIL in the sweater, so BIL started dancing for him. S was all smiles and started moving his arms and legs like he was mimicing BIL. DH and I laughed so hard we were crying. It was one of the most adorable moments with him ever.
Now DH is off golfing and I'm feeling good after S slept for 7 hours - dancing tired him out! I may even start my annual holiday cookie mailing today!
5 cycles of "TTC" - 3 intentional, 2 not so intentional. 5 BFPs. My rainbow arrived 10/15/14. TFMC 08.02.13 at 19+ weeks. Everyday I grieve for my little Olive.
After pizza and the park yesterday, I finished a majority of my Xmas shopping (just one more for DD and DH, then I can relax!!) and wrapped bunches of presents.
Today is cleaning day. I had always deep cleaned my house once a week, usually weekends, but I've been slacking since September. I promised I would get better on it this weekend but eh... bed feels so good right now.
I am impressed by all y'all notches decorating for the holidays. We have stockings and DH keeps talking about putting up the lights outside (along the front porch). But that is it. No time or space for a tree and other decorations. And wrapping presents.....ha. That probably isn't happening either this year. Gift bags if they are lucky.

My boobs were full all day yesterday. We're not at home and I didn't bring my pump because this has only been a morning issue, until last night, go figure. I hand expressed some out and made it a little better before sleeping. I woke up soaked with rocks in my bra. I fed DD and then went to get out more because I was still uncomfortable. I got 3 freaking ounces by hand expressing. Then I slept with a diaper in my bra.

DD woke up at 5 with no interest in continuing to sleep in her crib, rnp, bouncer, swing... Then, she took it a step further and decided anywhere but my arms is completely unacceptable. She has been passed out in my arms for FOUR HOURS but if I set her down within a minute she is screaming her head off.
Guise. I miss food. I need to lose weight and I've really been trying to watch what I eat. I just want ALL the food.
Dude. Me too. I have been eating healthier than I ever thought possible now that I've omitted soy and dairy. I miss baked goods and pizza more than you can imagine. I'm sick of chicken and veggies.
Do you have a cheat day? You gotta have a cheat day...
@ANGnJON I request a twins Santa pic! I'm glad it went well.
And I'll take cookies if anyone's offering.
@rosalie12 Santa didn't feel comfortable holding them both at the same time "they're too tiny" so they're individual! I will post the pics later! We're feeling adventurous again! So we're on our way to BWW to watch the Steelers game! Here we go Steelers, here we go!

@starla487 and @dredford I do have two carriers. She usually sleeps for like 20-30 minutes max during the day so I kept waiting for her to wake up and stay that way...no dice.
DH finally woke up and took her for a bit. I got in 4 cups of coffee so I am golden...for now!
Wanna hear some cruel irony? DD slept for 4 hours last night for the first time ever (2.5 once per night is the usual routine) and I was wide awake with my mind racing for at least two of the hours. Torture! I honestly think I might have some PP anxiety going on, I just can't relax and turn my brain off enough to rest.
I do this ALL of the time. My body anticipates when she will wake up and then I try and go back to sleep but can't. Cruel cruel world...
This guy is 11 weeks old today. The older he gets, the more I find myself thinking, "I think I could do this again." Wtf, brain.
I keep thinking the same thing. I couldn't believe when moms would say you forget how tough the newborn stage is quickly. But I am already forgetting how tough those first weeks were. Although I feel a second would be a completely different set of challenges...
Success!!! Took lots of experimenting with light, angles, and camera settings...and several breaks to nurse/cat nap...but we got some fab pictures! Too bad DS1 is so sick. Will get some photos with him too when he's feeling better.

My arms hurt and I am tired...
Sounds like my morning! I'm not sure how I got her in the carrier without waking but she' been asleep for 2 hours now I've finally getting a chance to get housework done!

That whole Wisdom thread on S15 is a whole barrel of crazy. People who aren't even pregnant yet getting upset that another BMB is offering congratulations and advice, which is somehow ruining the culture of "their BMB." Which, of course, does not exist because no one is due in S15 yet. Thanks to whoever posted that link yesterday. Highly entertaining.
Imagine if someone from our BMB joins that BMB for real :-O --------------------
On our way to kill a Christmas tree with my dad, stepmom, and step siblings. Its been 10 years since I've done this because of the divorce. At least LO will look damn cute in his snowsuit.

Sure enough, a foul smelling fully loaded diaper happened shortly after. DH got to change it. I laughed inside!
