I've been MIA this weekend because we were at my IL's for Christmas! It was fun, but now that it's over I have only two more Christmas celebrations between now and my due date! YIKES!! Also my mom sent me a text last night that said the following: "Okay so my two sisters went to see a Medium in November I realize some of you are skepticle as My sister was going over the notes she made and remembering all the things she was told. My mother Your Grandma Brickman was there and she is Watching us and wass holding a blue baby blanket for a baby Boy who will be born around Christmas. I realize there is a 50/50 chance she is correct. But I know some of you if not all of you know what this baby is and I to will not be shocked if my newest grandbaby is a boy LOL" ....
It's kind of funny because we ARE having another boy, but we haven't told a soul! I tend to not buy into the whole talking to dead people jazz...but now everyone is going to believe even more! However, my mom has always told me this little one was a boy...but I just role my eyes at all of the "psychic/medium" stuff. Really it's a 50/50 guess either way.
I also really hope that this little dude waits until after the new year to be born...preferably not on or around Christmas like the medium "predicted" because that would just be an inconvenience lol.
I also tried to take DS to see santa the other day but he freaked so this is the closest we will get to a picture with santa this year!
Ugh, I'm so mad at myself. H and I were supposed to do a tour of the labor and delivery department late this morning, but I completely forgot. I was too busy trying to figure what kind of goat would be best for bartering with the hospital.

On an unrelated note, I'm pretty tired of people touching me. This morning at church, my belly got touched or rubbed SIX TIMES. SIX. Once was by a child, so she just didn't understand and that's fine. But...the others? Adults.
AND THEN I got mentioned in the sermon as being "great with child." At least the comparison was sort of to Mary (not specifically, just sort of), but....goodness. Mentioned in the sermon? (It's a small church.)
Great job @nursemarie925 ! I saw like 2 other pregnant ladies at the race and wanted to be like " are you nursemarie from TB?" But most likely it wouldn't be you and they'd look at me like I was crazy so I didn't. Hope you had fun!
Lol. I saw a few and thought the same thing. How did you do?!
Confession: My friend is pregnant and was talking about how she went to the BabyCenter forums, but the women there were so bitchy and catty. I didn't want to tell her about TB because I kind of like my anonymity here. Plus if BC was too harsh for her, idk what she'd think about TB.
Zoe went to her first restaurant tonight. She was so thrilled and excited that she slept through 90% of it Such an optimal time to take babies out.. when they're still sleeping lots.
I ate too much.
Now I'm relaxing in front of the TV with Netflix, old school Grey's Anatomy and my blueberry tea!

I have a busy week ahead of me.... Evms appt(high risk dr) then i need to ship out a christmas package and cards. Tuesday is my bfing class at wic and my DS2 christmas performance at school. Wednesday i see my obgyn drs. Friday is my ds1 10th bday, Saturday is his bday party.... I still need to order his cake. And make a visit to my grandma/grandpa and brothers grave site to visit(its almost christmas). So much to do!!! Me and fiance and kids did get a lot done at home and getting car cleaned and carseat installed today so I'm happy about that. :-)
I went to pick up my Christmas layaway from Kmart. A woman was waiting behind me and said "oh you're having a Christmas baby!" I told her I was having my baby in 3 weeks. She said "no way you're making it 3 more weeks!"
Thanks, stranger lady. I was actually looking smaller today. Even my husband said I looked tiny today. Well, he said "you looked small today, yesterday you looked fucking huge!"
Two randoms - a woman at church said I looked really small for almost 35 weeks, but DH "reassured" me, "No, babe. You're big." Thanks, DH.
Also, we draw names for gifts, and DH's cousin wants ammo for his Glock. I am not a fan of guns. I kind of just want to get him a box of chocolates or something.
This morning I got an email and phone call letting me know that my Mastercard may have been compromised and had to call customer service to have the card cancelled. They will have a new card to me in 7-10 days. Good thing I wasn't planning on using that card on any more things for Christmas or anything...
Then the door handle half broke off of my car door when my 5 year old went to open it. Ugh. He pulled it like normal and a screw or something busted in half and fell down inside the door. I got it to open when we got to my parents house and again to get them back in the car to come home, but when we got home I couldn't get it to open for anything so I had to walk the whole way around the car and have them crawl out the other side. This will be convenient for buckling/unbuckling car seats.
At least my soon to be ex hit 2 separate deer with the newest car we own all in one week.
This has been such a wonderful weekend. My husband finally got a Saturday off and it was wonderful. We went grocery shopping and relaxed... The only problem is I have had so much butt and lower back pain on top of cramps. He keeps asking if I am okay, he doesn't understand this is all normal lol
Sorry to all of the ladies with aches and haven't been sleeping well I've had some aches but I have been sleeping ok. We're almost there!
I had a really weird dream last night that I tried to breast feed my dog. Then I had another dream I worked part time at an adult store.
I texted my mom during church this morning (my parents played church hookie) that "baby" wanted her chocolate chip cookies. I...I mean baby, had been craving them. She text me back saying she was in the process of baking them. Guess where I went after church
OMG I had a dream last night about breastfeeding my cat!..... Crazy Preggo dreams!
@MusicFanatic Let me ask you a question. While at the restaurant did you leave her in the car seat/baby wear/other? Just curious. I imagine myself baby wearing, but as a FTM I'm not sure what's actually going to be practical.
@soon2bejp, I know you weren't asking me, but in restaurants with DS we usually left him in the infant car seat because sometimes he would be asleep from the car and then would just sleep all through dinner. This was when we went out for Mexican - ha ha.
Eating while baby-wearing is doable, but for me I preferred if he was in the infant car seat. We would get him out and either wear him or take turns holding him if he was fussy.

I did okay. Didn't really have a time goal for this one since I knew there would be more walking involved. I really struggled miles 10-13, but managed to survive
Its awesome that you even set that goal for yourself. My leg ended up being 5 miles and that was more than enough! I'm getting kind of stiff now. So I know it's time for me to back off.
My BFF, a struggling single mom to an autistic 4 year old, started a layaway at Kmart in October. She put roughly $275 worth of gifts on layaway for her son which she paid on and completely paid off last week WELL before the Dec 17 deadline. She called me today in tears saying that she got an email from Kmart saying that they were canceling her order because they no longer had the merchandise. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. And the kicker is that they will refund her money in 12 -14 business days. Uuummm Christmas is in 10 days. She doesn't have the money to go out and buy all new stuff. She did layaway so she could get the stuff that Oli really wanted and have time to pay for it. I am beside myself over this. This girl can't catch a break. I just feel so bad. My husband went to the bank today and grabbed cash and I am going to bring it to her tomorrow. Where does Kmart get off? I

That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Bless her heart and shame on K-Mart! She's lucky to have you to help her out.
Pretty productive weekend for me, I wrapped all my Xmas gifts yesterday and today my dd and I made 2 kinds of fudge, microwave caramels, and Rice Krispie treats. I have tomorrow off which makes it a lot easier to be willing to do some work over the weekend. Tomorrow she has preschool and then a Sibling class at our hospital. Also my Dad is coming to hang closet doors that I bought 5 years ago and are still sitting in my garage.
Anyone else's contractions hurt more in their vagina/groin than they do in their abdomen? Mine have only hurt in my abdomen until just now. And it made me curious.

Yes! I had this problem with my first two as well.

@soon2bejp - sorry, just saw this! We did what Maebb said (what a cute picture!!). We're using an infant seat for her and she fell asleep in the car on the way to the restaurant so we just unsnapped her from the base and brought the carrier in and put it in the seat next to me (booth) and she didn't wake for awhile. Girl can sleep through ANY noise right now. She didn't wake until halfway through my meal so we just held her at that point. Wasn't a big deal at all.
I do use a sling & carrier at times in public (like when I grocery shop? I love to use it then) but since she was asleep, I didn't wanna wake her.Or spill food on her head.

That just broke my heart. So they don't have the gifts in stock she had been paying off?
@MrsFaFa2 I'm so sorry about your friend. She is lucky to have a friend like you. I hope everything works out for her.
