So, I had an MC on 10/28 - my dr said, "I see no reason that you two can't try again right away." Great! When I asked her, "should I wait for my next cycle to make sure everything is back to normal?" She didn't seem too concerned, she just basically just repeated the first sentence.
I guess I was just a little confused by her sort of nonchalant attitude..? Has anyone else been given approval to TTC before their bodies even return back to normal?
It's been 2 weeks since it happened but, it's really been weighing on my mind. I am definitely going to call and ask to speak to another OB/GYN just to make sure. She wasn't my regular dr, as he was on vacation at the time. And since she handled my MC, my follow up was with her.
Re: Thoughts on O after MC
@nicnackmama I feel ready mentally. I had just found out I was pregnant 5 days before my miscarriage. And before that, I didn't even know if we were able to conceive. Then, bam, first time trying and it happened. If anything, I am just over the moon that the ability is there. Eager, even, to try again! Just sort of went against what I have seen on this board/what most doctors seem to advise?
Finally, while some women can get pregnant the cycle after a loss and go on to have a healthy, no complication pregnancy, many don't. I have seen far too many women on this board have back to back losses. I'm not saying this to scare you. I am telling you this because back to back losses suck. Allowing yourself time to heal both emotionally and physically is very important.

And as the other ladies said, make sure you're ready mentally. That's just as important as being ready physically. Good luck to you!
