Flat head

My 4 month old was diagnosed with mild-moderate plagiocephaly recently. I would like to know if any LO's with flatness rounded out without the helmet? We have been repositioning to try to avoid the helmet altogether.

    Ours did! I never got a degree of how severe it was but it was very noticeable at 2 months. We did PT and repositioning and went for a helmet evaluation. We were told it is now very mild and are not getting one.

    We are headed to the plastic surgeon at CHOP on Tuesday and will let you know the outcome. I'm so worried about it. I feel like she's getting better and the pedi just needs to cya, but of course nobody wants their baby to have to see a specialist.

    Unfortunately repositioning did not work for us. LO got a helmet on Tuesday. We suspect he also has torticollis and I think if we had been more aware of working on that sooner it would have been better!
