On a whim I just ordered a couple of Jade and Pearl sponges.  I will let you know how they go if you are still curious.  I think it was you that was asking about them?

    Do you wash them? What is better about them?

    They are natural, don't have any chemicals, create less waste (they are actually compostable once you are done w/ them), and like @Rrrrrachel said they dry you out less.  And a much lower risk of TSS than disposable tampons.  And I have heard they are way more comfortable than regular tampons.

  • I have heard of women w/ prolapses that use sponges.  So I think that even though your cervix is low, they should still work?

    I will let you know my honest opinion once I try them.
