NEWBIES- Read the reviews of these forums before posting (from a fellow Newb)

Almost all of the reviews discuss how the information on the app can be useful, but these communities are, to quote "horrible," "unproductive" "trolls" and "cyber bullies." Best solution is [edited by mod]-- according to the reviews. In the meantime, their corporate office, XO Group has requested you send any information and complaints directly to them to feedback@theknot so they can do a thorough review of their forum guidelines.

I had delicious veggie stir fry and spring rolls from my favorite restaurant which is closing down in 10 days. I've been going there for 17 years! I got a picture with the owner and it made me so happy.

This is absolutely hysterical

"Newbs"-if you want a community that's filled with supportive, funny women, this is a great place. Not only are they helpful when you have questions (ones that aren't easily answered by google) but if you have serious issues going on, you won't find a better online support system.

It is absolutely ridiculous how some of you come in here, ask questions that have been asked 1000 times, and are then nasty to the most supportive women that have been here for months/years

If you want serious answers and to be part of a COMMUNITY, I suggest taking the time to read the first few threads and look around the board a bit before you decide to start name calling and being nasty to some really great ppl

I don't get trolls or some of the newbs, like I don't post here to hear what I want to hear, I post here because I want input. Regardless of the opinion, because we have such a diverse group I'm hoping that a btdt person can give me sound advice or call me on being crazy.

@ajjorgenson‌ It's a nice suggestion and all, but any newbies (like me) interested in reading BEFORE posting read the "New to May 15" thread that clearly says READ ME FIRST.

So unfortunately I don't think you can help anyone here. Anyone who can read, interpret, and use information is doing just fine on TB.

Why don't these women understand they are in charge of their health, and the health of their child? We are not a pregnancy book, we are not more medically advanced then their Drs or MWs, and if you want to use this COMMUNITY as a personal Google (which won't go over well) at least BE APART AND GIVE SUPPORT FIRST.

The OPs or WK are usually the ones who throw offending remarks first, and yet they have the nerve to call the rest of the COMMUNITY "bullies"? This is faarrrr from bullying. This is snark. This is I'm tired of seeing the same damn thread, about the same damn shit, posted 7-10 damn times. This is "Why the fuck haven't you read the READ ME FIRST THREAD?!"

These women are supportive, funny, snarky, witty, and caring. They have rallied around a numerous amount of women,from our own BMB who lost their babies this year. They have gathered when a women is in serious need. There is a on going list on our BMB Blog for Angel babies, so that we won't forget them or their mothers. I CAN GUARANTEE YOU WILL NOT GET THAT TYPE OF SUPPORT FROM ANY OTHER FORUM OR "APP" COMMUNITY.

For fucks sake, get with the program or move your behind somewhere else.

I am very confused. I don't know if I am considered a "newby," but I am a FTM. I have posted a few topics and try to post on a few weekly boards. Sometimes people have different opinions and disagree with me, but I don't consider it bullying. Most of the time, everyone has been super kind and supportive. We are adults, right? Why do people instigate reactions from others and then get mad and defensive toward said reactions? I am really over dramatic bitches posting stupid/redundant topics and then trying to censor responses from other. Get over it or get off the board.

I usually stay pretty quiet and goofy regarding threads and posters like you but OP, with the exception of your first discussion, every comment I have ever seen you post is just complaining about this community. I've seen you post in none of the productive conversations we have about our pregnancy, none of the support threads, none of the GTKY threads, etc. The only posts you seem to pick are the ones where some fun snark crop. This is the first time I've said this to a fellow poster but... GTFO. Just leave. I'd rant about just how backwards and useless you are, but I'm not you and don't like to waste my time complaining about people on this board.

I'm still somewhat a lurker but I read through a significant amount of posts and haven't had to post any of my own questions because of doing so. I honestly can't say I've seen any trolling but more education, in the best snarky ways possible, to those who choose to ask their questions they can easily just google or search in the existing discussions (as mentioned by many of you other ladies). My guess is that people download the app and set it up and then forget about it until well beyond the 3 days and then just ask away with disregard to how the community works. Which is really too bad. I'm participating more and more and am thankful for this resource for the rest of my FTM pregnancy and all that may come that I will be able to find support for here.

I just wish I knew how to post a gif from mobile. I'm never on a computer anymore and gifs are my jam!

Stay classy, ladies. OP is probably ignoring all of these posts anyway.
