Baby Shower Today

Today I am 24 weeks pregnant, and due to the fact that the weather is very hard to predict in January, February, and March. I am due at the beginning of April, but my doctor feels like I will likely have a late March baby (yes, I can't bare to leave you April folks). So today, at six months, I am helping host a whole house of friends and family, a lot of which is baby daddy's family. I am hoping all goes well! Happy holidays!!!
Here is a simple question:
How far along will you be at your baby shower?

I personally know people that have had a shower as early has 4 months and as late as after the baby is already here. I just requested that my family wait until after the holidays (and haven't registered yet). Crazy to think that we're getting to baby shower time already. Enjoy your day!

My parents and in laws have decided on Feb 15th so I'll be 33 weeks.

I'm having three showers. A work shower that will probably be in early April (due 4/14), a family dinner with my DH's family in late February and my friends are throwing me a shower. I don't know when they're doing it, but both of their little boys were born in March so I assume they'll be working around birthday parties.

Mine will be 2 days after Xmas as I'm flying back east for the holiday.  It was going to be a surprise, but my mom told me about it last week so I'd work on the registry.

I'm also having one super early due to travel issues (I am a broken record because I always feel like I need to justify this...it's so early).  So mine are the Sunday before and the Saturday after Christmas (DH's family then my family).  I will be 21 and 22 weeks.

Mine is at the end of Feb so that one of my best friends from college can be there! She's traveling all the way from New York (I live in SC). I will be 35 weeks...can't wait!!!

Second baby, so unless my friend decides to throw me something, then no shower. For the first I was 6 months pregnant bc the shower was in PA and I live in TX.

This is my second so I'm not sure I will have one. I think my church will probably throw a little lunch or something.

Unless one of my friends here wants to host one that I don't know about yet, I won't have a shower until after my baby is born.
My Mom and hometown church want to host one for me and since I'll be moving back to that part of the country about a month after LO is born (not ideal but we don't have a choice) they're just going to host one then since the only other time I'll be home before baby comes is Christmas. Our current apartment is tiny and getting stuff this early that I won't use for months doesn't make sense.

My shower back home (12 hours away) is the last weekend in Feb, I will be 32 weeks.  I don't know when my one where we live now is but will be probably early/mid march.

The one my mom is having for me will be in February. My MIL also mentioned one but I think she wants to do it in March. We gets lots of snow here too, but it usually doesn't create too much of a problem I hope!

I will be having mine sometime in March. One from work and one that I am helping co-host at my house. May sound weird to co-host mine, but I like to think of it more of a party for the baby and not for me.

I am a first time mama but I still don't think I'm going to have a shower. Everyone is scattered all over the place and I think it would be near impossible to get everyone together. That being said I will still welcome visitors after baby is born! Maybe having people over one on one will be more intimate and let me have a better visit too.

I'm not sure when my family wants to hold a baby shower but my mom always had her showers at about 35 weeks so probably mid march for me.

My mom and SIL are planning something for the first weekend in February. So I'll be around 32 weeks.

I have no idea , I was think mid January so that would make me 25-26 weeks but maybe I might go with mid February , lucky for me it will be nice and sunny still ... I only thought January in case I go into labour early , but I don't have the room to store masses of stuff and have to make our study into bubs room before I can set it up, so can't just put the stuff straight into his room ...

Mine will be in late February, one @ 32 weeks and another @33 weeks. I did request the dates be earlier then later, I didn't want to be 8 1/2 months and miserable and I really want the nursery complete a month before the due date (by March) but after Mardi Gras (Feb 17 ) since that's my busy time at work. So those dates worked. Gold luck and have fun at yours! I'm actually looking forwar to the baby showers more than my wedding showers, the gift opening will be so much more fun:)

Mine will be Jan 4, I'll be 25 weeks. I asked to have mine a lil earlier since I'm pregnant with twins and my best friend who is one of the hosts is due with her buddle of joy Jan 27.

I'm waiting to get my February schedule in order to plan a date. And apparently I'm getting three showers: one in the Bay Area, one in the Valley and one at work. It's going to be tight planning.

Hope you had a great time at your shower. Weather is unpredictable here too, but my mom & sisters are planning mine for Feb 15 (33 weeks) with a snow date the following week. DH's co-workers are throwing him/us a (surprise) shower on Jan 15th that I will attend. He hasn't a clue.

This is my second so no shower for me, but with my first I was due 5/13 and my shower was 4/14.

When I think of timing of showers, I will always remember my friend that missed her shower as she was in labor at the hospital. Her shower was held when she was 34 weeks.

We still held the shower & her sister opened & displayed all the gifts.

So in my book, early labor may be something to consider if it runs in your family etc.

BFF is hosting my shower at the end of January (so that'll make me 29ish weeks?), as that's when my Ma will be in town.
