It's Friday betches!

DD is being clingy right now. she waited until i was almost done folding a basket of laundry.  As soon as I pick her up she yawns and snuggles up to me. I set her down and she waits until i pick up a sock to match to cry again. So clearly laundry is on hold. My clean freak mother and grandmother arrive tomorrow for DD's baptism and i'm trying to get house clean, i so wish i had a wrap right now to hold her and work.

@IndianaMommy08‌ hugs btw! Boys are stupid. Parker has gotten to the point when he walks away before he says anything he will regret! I hope your hubby realizes how shitty he is being!

LO is having her 3 week growth spurt. Or had it. I hope. Much more frequent nursing for two days, culminating in a constant nurse/cry fest last night that kept us up past midnight. Then she slept 5 hours, and now my right boob is full and super sore. Pleeeease no mastitis.

So...two month shots suck.  Luckily my LO is sleeping it off like a champ...for now.  She screamed the loudest and most painful I have heard to date.  I think even louder than the tongue clipping--although I may be repressing that memory...  

On the adorable side...I love describing my little girl as having a tiny body and a ginormous head.  Well, it was confirmed with data today!  Her weight is 5th percentile, her length is 3rd percentile and her head circumference is 14th percentile.    I love my teeny tiny big-headed little angel!!!!

@uncharted01‌ I'm so sorry for your friend. 28 is way too young for a stroke, and I'm sending prayers for a speedy recovery.

@JamieK1882 my H used to do the same thing with Gabby--not really talk to her at all and then wonder why she liked me better. Now that she's almost 3, he's way more interactive with her. But he's repeating the same behavior with Louie. I plan on reminding him of this when he's complaining that Louie doesn't like him.

Louie's plastisleeve from his circumcision is starting to come off, and I think it's hurting him. We've gone from a 4 hour stretch at night back to being up every 2 hours. And when he's awake he's fussy. I hope this thing comes off soon so I can have my baby back!

We're getting furniture delivered today for our family room, and I'm so excited. It'll be nice to have a grown-up room!

So a couple months ago I posted asking for prayers for my SIL who was diagnosed with cancer in October. I wanted to say thank you and update all you awesome prayer warrior mamas. After 2 ass kickin rounds of chemo, they did a PET scan yesterday (which was a bit of surprise-originally they didn't intend to do one until after 3 rounds) and it's all GONE. No cancer! She's in remission!!!! Thank you all again for thinking of her!

We had a pretty good night last night and today LO is being super sweet.

My victory today is being 3 weeks pp and only having to wear panty liners! No more pads!! Whoopee! Also super excited it's Friday and DH will be home all weekend

I would say not at your house because
1) it's less expensive
2) no cleanup for you!

Im all for saving money and not having to do any extra work right now..

@targetpopcornmomma I would do it at your house if you want more of DD's friends to attend.  That way everyone can come and DD doesn't have to miss any of her friends at her party. I think pony rides and sleigh rides sounds awesome.  Then you could do hot chocolate and cookies/cake inside after to warm up.  Plus the kids could play out in the snow if you have any then.

I have to say you're on a slippery slope...my sister got horse back riding lessons one birthday and that lead to 70 acres, multiple horses, truck, trailer, and competitions.     I always feel the need to give the warning when people start talking about how much their kids love horses.

Gotcha. Yeah if your house is only 20min away from her friends and it being winter time and driving may be an issue for some, your house sounds like the better option. An hour is a little far to drive for a bday party IMO, and the hot chocolate & cookies plus snow time sounds like fun! We live in GA so we don't get any of that

So as I've said before H moved and I'm waiting to move too, but I was facetiming with him this afternoon and LO was laying on the bed next to me and when he heard H talking he inmediately looked towards the computer and smiled! It made me so happy that he recognized Hs voice!

I can only get LO to lay in his crib for about 1 hours maybe 2 if I'm lucky.. Not his pnp, bouncer, or rockaroo.. So I know exactly what you mean!

Had to take my parents cat to the vet and MIL watched DS while we ran to Costco. It is crazy during the holidays. DS kept giving me "why did you leave me?"glares when we got back. He has been really clingy and snuggly since. Babies are masters of Mommy guilt trips.

@abbyful I have decided to make a shadow box of our LO's baby girl pjs because my husband LOVES them and it was the first outfit we put her in. I want to try to do it for him for Christmas.  What type of frame did you get?  How deep is it?  Any tips for application?!?!!?

ETA: I suck at crafty things, so all advice is appreciated!
