OPK Confusion... halp!

Hi Ladies,

I am 9DPO, which was confirmed by temps and pos digital OPK. I'm feeling weird in the nether regions so for whatever reason I did a digital OPK this morning. It came back at Peak again. OK, fine I get that there can be a surge before your period. To confirm this, I did a cheapie OPK strip and it came back negative for O. I also got a BFN today.

Any insights on what the heck might be going on?

I've heard that people use OPKs as HPTs, but I wouldn't trust them. GL!

Sorry no insight but wanted to say its still early and try not to stress. Give it another 4-5 days and test again. Good luck!

I will test again. I was just kind of worried that something weird is going on with my ovulation. I guess it's probably fine, my temp keeps rising so I'm guessing that I really did ovulate when I thought and it's just a surge or something.

So just a little update... I'm still getting BFN, still no AF. I changed my FF to show that I got a + OPK on the 11th to see what the charts say now. We BD on the 10th so maybe, maybe it will take. Maybe I just had a messed up cycle this month, who knows. It would be a very long cycle for me which is unusual.  Anyhow, now if I say that O was on the 10th, it says I'm at 5 DPO. So I just might have to go through the 2WW again. Blah.

I don't have any insight into what's going on, but I think we're in the same boat. According to temps, I ovulated on on the 10th...but I didn't get a positive opk until the 12th. My temps have been bouncing around since the 10th, but still higher than my "normal" pre-O temps. FF won't even give me an O date, so going off of my own guesses, I'm either 7dpo OR I haven't ovulated at all. who the hell knows. If you find out anything, I'd be interested to hear it!

@flyliceandcoffee my temps have been higher than pre-o (the first O) also. ARgh.
