Age Based Weekly Thread?

The idea has been thrown out to replace the weekly ticker change threads with a thread based on LO's age. So of course it's clicky poll time

I imagine this working where every week we have a check in for 1 week olds, 2 week olds, and so on.

Maybe a good way to break it down would be to use birthdates rather than weeks?

Ie,

October 1-14 babies
October 15-31 babies
Nov 1-7 babies
Nov 8-14...
Nov 15-21...
Etc... (Something like that??)

I'll probably lose track of weeks at some point.

In seriousness, I can see this being very useful, but as a Nov-Ender, I also love seeing what the older babies are doing so I'm prepared when my time comes. I learn soooo much from you ladies!

I think @moroccojade‌ has the right idea with going by dates versus weeks. What if we have:

Mondays: Pre-October babies
Tuesdays: October 1-14
Wednesdays: October 15-31
Thursdays: November 1-8
Fridays: November 9-16
Saturdays: November 16-23
Sundays: November 24-30
And also on Mondays?: December 1-14

I think it would also be helpful to have some kind of standard format to start the convos like we did with the weekly ticker change.

Maybe something like:
-age (weeks + days..ie 3 weeks, 2 d)
-sleeping
-eating
-milestones
-questions
-AW

(These are all just suggestions!)

Looks like 11/9 - 11/16 gets to be the lucky first group! I'll try and make sure these get started for the first week or two since I doubt everyone will have a chance to read this. And @JamieK1882‌ I'm totally stealing your suggested format if I start them
