Anyone tried AquaFloat?

Has anyone tried AquaFloat? There is a flotation center in our town and some ladies at pre-natal yoga were talking it up. Apparently, the tanks are specifically designed to float you in a foot or so of salt/water mixture warmed to ambient body temperature. The salinity of the water enables an effortless suspension, resulting in sensations of hovering in a gravity-free environment--sounds like heaven to my 37week-weary joints about now!! Do  you really feel weightless? Is it worth the money? (our place is $60 for 90 minutes)

  • I don't know about that, but I think it would make a lovely addition to my christmas list :) I'm interested to hear what others say. $60 seems like a lot.

We have an indoor pool at the park behind our house and I have been swimming a few days a week. I do about 500 meters freestyle (front crawl) and oh my gosh my body feels so amazing when swimming. I practically forget I'm pregnant. It's heaven. I would go every day but I hate all the chlorine in my skin and hair.

  • My husband loves floating. Look on groupon or amazon local. We find deals all the time. I'm going for my first time this week

  • I want to do this so badly, especially at a center that has sensory deprivation as part of it. No noise. No light. Floating. Sounds like heaven.
