Nursing Strikes

Those of you that have gone through a nursing strike, what did your LO do? I just fed dd, and she kept disconnecting and screaming, then I'd reconnect her, Rinse & repeat until 8 minutes where I gave up. Does that sound about right?

My baby wouldn't latch-- at all. Just screamed instead until I put him down. I was sick, and had a fever. My BFF just said he prob didn't want his milk extra hot like a latte and he'd get over it. Of course I was devastated and felt rejected..... My cold went away and he came back to breast.

I just pumped and bottled the few days it took.

Basically it's beads she can play with while nursing. Not safe for her to put in her mouth though. Just to play with. You wear it around your neck and she plays with it while nursing. I was desperate to keep her from getting distracted. We had multiple strike periods.
There are a bunch on the market. You can try to google it.

yes i've had about 2 strikes so far that lasted about 3-4 days each.  that's exactly what she would do.  it took me a while to figure out it was a pattern (like by day 2/3) but on those days i decided to have DH give her a bottle because it was getting very mentally and emotionally frustrating.
