If you had a para gard put in can u please let me know if this is normal.
I had it put in two weeks ago at about the same time i had finished my 3rd box of cerazett mini pill. My cervix was closed up and my doctor used some local anastethia to open it up. During and after the procedure i almost fainted 5 times then i went home and slept and was fine afterward. I started bleeding once i got home and got my period as well for 8 days which is longer than my normal period but much lighter in intensity.
about 10 days after i got it put in i started having very light cramps and discharge that is clear and i feel so bloated. Yesterday and today i feel like my uterus is heavy and i keep going to the bathroom although there isnt much liquid in me (similar to the feeling you get while pregnant) and mild cramps are ongoing all day long and i feel and look bloated (pants feel tight around stomach area) is this normal? And does it last the entire time you have it in? (Years?!

No, that does not sound normal and I would go get it checked. I had a complication with mine (my body was trying to expel it) but it was fine for months after I had it inserted. I think you should go back to the doctor.
I've had mine since fall 2011. No issues like this. I did find initially my period heavier than when I was on the pill but it has since shortened. I'd call your doctor.
I spoke to my doctor and she says it sounded like i was ovulating and having a UTI and told me to drink lots of water and take uricol and contact her again if the symbtoms persist. I bulled up on water and feel much better but the minor cramps still persist. Everyone tells me after 3 months all cramping due to the paragard will stop
