Congrats! I think this makes you the first Aug14 mama to be pregnant again My friend has two girls 11 months apart, and they are best friends, it's really quite sweet. GL!

My sister and I are 1 day less than a year apart.

My best advice from going through it personally...be sure you know what's going on at home. My sister and I (physically) fought a lot growing up. Hair pulling, punching, kicking, biting, the whole shebang. But both being female, I guess it's not surprising that things weren't so calm between us.

But now that we are older we get along just fine.

And as others have said, I hurt just thinking about another pregnancy right now, but so much good luck!!!

We have a foster placement who is a baby and I am due in a couple months so ours will be 6 or so months apart. I have no advice just thought I'd let you know we are on the same boat. Middle of the night feedings coupled with morning sickness suck!

Congrats. My 2 are 19 months apart and it is crazy but you make do with it. You do your best everyday and are happy if everyone is still alive at the end of the day.

I had a dream last night someone on our board announced they were pregnant again, and here you are! Congrats! I had two girlfriends in HS who acted like twins and were 11 months apart, they got along just fine.

Congratulations and good luck. I'm a FTM so all I can think is to try to get them on the same nap schedule.

Oh yea. We were shocked. Note to self.. BC after next delivery!! Dr said it happens quite a bit

Or maybe hold off on sex until you start BC if that's your choice (for next time).

Also, while the risk of getting pregnant right after delivery is slim, it can still happen. If you didn't use protection, you shouldn't be so shocked. Like, seriously?

OP, actually most women are not at their most fertile after having a baby. Of course it's possible but it's not the same for all women. For some it's a matter of weeks and for some it's a matter of months. So, WRONG.

I've never liked Krispy Kremes. Man. First the cheesecake and now this. You guys are going to kick me out.

I wish I was pregnant again only because of the excuse. I'm about to do surgery on a pig and I'm too tired. If I was pregnant Id have an excuse to take lots of breaks.

Don't worry about the pig- I have back up so he'll be just fine if I sleepily try to do something dumb.

Confession: Every Thursday someone brings doughnuts to the group on the floor below me. I always troll through and grab one. Today I got caught steeling doughnuts on both my trips down there. I feel it's bad luck to be caught so I might have to make a third trip so I can end on a good note.
