Combining expressed milk from different days?

Sorry if this is a silly question or has been asked a million times...I am starting to pump once a day to build some supply when I go back to school in 3 weeks and am wondering if it is okay to combine expressed milk from different days into one container. The most I have been able to pump is about 2 oz combined from each side which isn't quite enough for one bottle feeding. For example, I have 2 separate 2 oz bottles in fridge right now; one was pumped Monday and the other Tuesday. Can I combine to make one 3 oz bag to freeze (would combine the other oz with next day's or store alone) for one bottle or do I have to keep separate? Thanks in advance and I hope I'm making sense!

agree it's fine to combine different days. make sure that both bottles are cold before you combine them, though (that is, don't pour room temperature milk into refrigerated milk).

I'm going to hijack with a random question- why combine cold milk with cold?  I've been mixing room temp with cold milk for the last few months.  Is that bad?
