Drop in supply and formula issues

DD is 8 months and has had a bottle of formula at bedtime for about 2 months now. I pump at work and get just enough to provide all of her daytime bottles. At night she was getting really fussy and not getting a letdown and it just ended up being a better bedtime routine to go to a bottle. I didn't have enough BM for that bottle though. She seems to have developed a possible intolerance to the formula. She threw up after the bedtime bottle 4 nights in a row, but was fine the rest of the time. Her Pedi said to try a lactose free formula for a while and then we could try to reintroduce at a later date. Well we tried that tonight and she refused it. She ended up nursing, but I had to pump at first to get a let down. She was just getting really upset and crying and never getting there on her own. Has anyone else ever dealt with having to supplement and developing an intolerance? Has anyone ever had baby refuse a lactose free formula? I know this is a breast feeding board, but I know there are others here who have had to supplement as well. Feeling so bad that I am unable to produce more and we are even having this problem. Don't know what I am going to do tomorrow since I have to work.
