FI calls absolutely everything "the boppy." We have a boppy, a boppy lounger...."boppy" is also a pacifier, a bottle. When he asks me to get the baby her boppy I have NO clue what he means.
MIL called the pacifier a "rubber bone" last week.
One I heard on a news article last year and had to Google was "pumpkin seat", apparently it's a regional term for infant carseat.
Around my area a pumpkin seat is a stand alone infant seat that you set on the floor, table, wherever so the baby is around everyone else but not being held constantly. The swing we registered for and were gifted has a removable seat that is a pumpkin seat. Didn't know that when I registered for it! He's in it right now sleeping so I could pump. It's been one of the best things we've received. Especially since my husband started back to work this week. I can actual get some things done and not feel tethered to the room he is laying down in. I just take him with me.

It's funny to me how everyone has a different term for pacifier...binkie, bink, dummies, paci, mimi, nonny, neenee, soothie, soother, etc.
