Leftover spinach and cheese tortellini that I made for post baby with done salad. M seems to be tolerating dairy now, so we can finally eat the stuff I made.
@Smallllmin, I have a freezer half filled with Trader Joe's goodness that I can no longer eat due to MSPI Anyway, tonight's dinner will be mini pizzas made with TJ whole wheat pitas as the crust. Pepperoni for MH and Mediterranean (hummus & vegan cheese instead of pizza sauce & normal cheese) for me. I sauteed TJ crimini mushrooms, frozen tri-color bell pepper medley and onions as the veggies on the pizzas.
@redrockmama, how old is M? That's great dairy is being tolerated again. Trader Joe's spinach & cheese tortellini is sitting lonely in our freezer.

I'm pretty sure you would have to thaw and cook the ground turkey in skillet first before putting it in a crock pot. If that's all you have, you might want to forgo the crock pot idea. But if you still want soup, you could thaw and cook the ground turkey, then make taco soup. Here's a typical recipe: https://www.kraftrecipes.com/recipes/taco-soup-111547.aspx

@TJ1979@sarenu1 Thoughts on using this instead of tomato sauce for either recipe? We are weirdly out of sauce.
I'd go for it. I'd just saute the turkey. Drain the fat. Add it to the soup. I'd skip diced tomatoes (it looks like there might be some in there already). You could add beans. And taste for added spices.
I love fennel. I did some roasted fennel and beets awhile ago that was so good. Bonus my husband didn't like it so I got to eat it all.
I like fennel, too, but I've never had it cooked. My ILs always serve it raw on antipasto platters when they host parties and that's how I was introduced to it. I'm looking forward to trying it roasted.
OR, I like to drizzle boneless skinless thighs with Vinaigrette or even Caesar dressing. Whatever you have on hand. Then top with bread crumbs and bake at 350 until finished. About 40-45 min.

Trader Joe's Mandarin Orange Chicken and brown rice with tiny string beans.
AKA: Put frozen chicken in the oven, put frozen rice in the microwave, put frozen string beans in microwave.
Voila.
Idiot ...me proof.

Ya'll have yet to know that I am terrifically challenged in the kitchen.

They were just slices of avocado that I breaded and baked in the oven. They were ok.
