I Can't Believe I Can Post This!--Aw, 1 Year!

DD turns 1 tomorrow! I developed Mastitis at 5 weeks and 2 subsequent abscesses from that. My supply tanked on my infected side so I quit nursing on that side. I spent the first few months treating breastfeeding like a ticking time bomb and threatened to quit so many times out of fear another abscess would form. I worried constantly about my supply once I returned to work and hated breastfeeding for the longest time. The past month or so once I realized we were going to reach our 1 year goal all the stress subsided and happy to say I enjoy breastfeeding. I can't wait to ditch the pump, but we will continue morning and night for a little while longer

Congrats! I love reading these posts

My LO turns 1 next month and I'm so excited to make it that far. I always thought I would be done by 1 but I'm definitely going to fall into the "extended " nursing category.

Good luck on ditching the pump! I can't wait for that!
