December 8th Medical Update: Rectal Insertion of Essential Oils Cures All Ailments

The neck is still stiff but better than yesterday.  Which EO is good for the neck?  Do I have to put it in my rectum?  Rub it on my neck or swallow it?  I need help!

Inconclusive hearing test today.  Leah's hearing looks to be better than it was 3 months ago, but it's not where it should be.  Unsure whether it's because  distracted toward the end of test, left tube  blocked, and/or permanent hearing loss.

One is clogged with little bit of infection.  ENT thinks the tube might be trying to make it's way out.

Torturous ear drops, time, and recheck in 3 months.

    Off to the dentist.  Estimated 3 hours in chair -- I'm getting the gas as an early Christmas gift to myself.  8-}

    I'm sorry about LO's ears! :(

Happy gas & smooth sailing at the dentist!

  • LO is starting to cough. And it sounds horrible. :(

I think some of you have given Zarbees. Did it work? Worth a shot? What other remedies did you give or do that relieved the cough?
  • She said it's an ancient practice (because people totes used to live a long time in good health..) and some celebrity I've never heard of does it now and it's becoming popular. @lancomechica

  • Re: coughing babes - I normally used Hyland's cough syrup. Not anymore, because P is on inhaler/Singulair now. And she has been getting doses of Benadryl. Sometimes it makes me feel like a terrible mother, how much I give her Benadryl, but then I remember she needs it for her allergies & usually can't breathe without it.

Oh poor pumpkin! :( I'm on inhaler and Singulair too for my asthma. It's not fair for littles to be on these. :(
  • I teased the bump is giving me carpal tunnel but it is really hurting. Has anyone had surgery or other remedies? When I managed a pain clinic I had a patient have worse pain post surgery...makes me scared. #:-S I know an excellent hand surgeon but he is arrogant with a God complex which puts me off considering being his patient.

Just FYI - my LO's sickness started with cough and then went to a high fever. I think we both have the flu.

Same. If Addie doesn't have fever and has terrible cough, we occasionally give Benadryl. Her doctor also said it was okay to use Zyrtec.

  • The plague refuses to leave my house. After me being sick for a week and Oliver all snotty and gross he is now running a high fever. 103.7...yay.

@haddocky‌ Sorry for the loss of your friend. Cancer sucks hardcore. :(
  • @casey78 very good points. My doctor hasn't run any test on me she just says sounds like carpel tunnel and tries to refer me out. I do see a military doctor and they do not put much effort on finding out the cause of issues.

I am having trouble losing weight even though I have made some lifestyle changes but I put that on the depression. Weight loss and depression are an evil cycle all on it's own. I have been on BC for 2 and 1/2 months I threw away package so not sure if it is generic but I will ask when I go get more BC.

  • P gets Benadryl at least 5 times a week. MOTY

Also! I was at my chiro this morning, and they had antivax pamphlets in the waiting room. Guess who has 20 pamphlets in her purse?

    Time for a new chiro.
