Just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking of you today and I hope that ER goes well. Here's to a great fert report!

Me: 30  DW (aka C): 29

Together since 2/15/11 ~ Legally married in NY on 9/29/12

We've been working on baby #1 since July 2013 using Open ID donor sperm.  8 IUI attempts with 5 actual IUIs and one chemical pregnancy.  We have one fresh IVF cycle under our belts as well as a FET.  I have endometriosis and a uterine septum that was corrected via surgery in November 2013. 

11/14/14 -  Second HSG shows that tubes are still clear and ute is looking good. 

12/6/14 - Started BCPs in prep for IVF #2

12/22/14 - Saline u/s and endometrial scratch (All was clear and OUCH!)

1/2/15 - Began stimming for IVF #2

    5 medicated IUIs w/ RE (March - July 2013) = BFN

    Fresh IVF Cycle in September 2013 resulted in 18 mature eggs, 16 fertilized, 12 made it to day 5. Transfer of 2 Grade A blastocysts on 9/15/13, and 10 embryos in the freezer!      *****BFP on 9/25/13 - betas: @10dp5dt = 232; @12dp5dt = 465; @15dp5dt = 1,581   *********William George born June 4, 2014*********

    IVF October 2012: 22 eggs retrieved, 17 fertilized, 5 frozen
    ET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Blighted ovum discovered at 7w5d; D&E
    FET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Missed m/c discovered at 9w5d; D&E
    Karyotyping: normal ~ RPL Testing: normal ~ Hysteroscopy: normal
    FET #2: 1 blast transferred 10/25; BFP 10/31!
    EDD 7/13/14 ~ Induced at 37w4d due to pre-eclampsia ~ Born on 6/28/14

    Aww thanks everyone!

    It was a long day and I'm just happy to be home in my jammies relaxing!

    I checked in at the hospital at 9:30am. They were swamped. Finally got to my room around 10:15 and had my retrieval around noon. They retrieved 8 eggs! My RE was happy with that number but she said my lining looked really thin. On Saturday my lining was a 7.2, so I already knew I would be taking Estrace vaginally once a day. Well now I have to take Estrace twice a day vaginally and go in Wednesday morning to get my lining checked. If it all looks good then we will continue with my fresh cycle transfer either on Thursday or Saturday, BUT if my lining isn't thicker then they will freeze them all and we will plan a FET for February. UGH! My last cycle FET was canceled because my lining was too thin. I asked the doctor and she said she had some ideas. Well now I just wait and see. 

    When I was in the shower before we left today I noticed a large lump on my left breast. I had L feel it and even she seemed concerned. We decided to ask our RE when we got to the hospital. Before they took me back to for the retrieval, I told my RE and she felt it. She got out her cell phone and called a doctor that works in the same hospital and he squeezed me in at 330. My RE didn't seem concerned but she didn't want to take the chances of it being something and waiting till later. I met with the doctor and he examined me. He said it wasn't anything to be concerned about, but is sending me for an ultrasound just to double check. I was really nervous, but feel way better now. 

    The only really funny thing that happened today was when the nurses were waking me up, I guess I kept asking if I was going to be late for work. When the nurses wheeled me back into my room they told L what I was saying and half awake, I said "My alarm was going off" Everyone got a good laugh :)

    @Himee33 - I hope all turns out ok with the lump.  Eight eggs is a great number!  I can't wait to hear about your fert report.  I also hope that your lining improves so that you don't have to wait for a FET.
