Since we covered music last week, I figured we'd do TV this week.
1. What TV show do you wish was still on the air?
2. If you could live in any home from a TV series, what home would it be (either because of the home itself or the family)?
3. What TV show are you embarrassed about watching?
4. If you had your own TV network, what sort of programming would it feature?
5. What TV shows inspires you/sparks your imagination most, and/or what's the best TV show to veg out to?
6. Have you ever been on TV?
Re: GTKY Monday - TV Edition
@lindy04aggie I'd join you in Full House
@shafwilson great GTKY
1. What TV show do you wish was still on the air? Sex and the City
2. If you could live in any home from a TV series, what home would it be (either because of the home itself or the family)? Melrose Place - I like how cosy that building looked.
3. What TV show are you embarrassed about watching? I'm not embarrassed by watching Housewives - only when DH is home that he rolls his eyes...but it's my guilty pleasure
4. If you had your own TV network, what sort of programming would it feature? Fashion, Comedy, Music Videos, Fitness, I'd try and steal Ellen
5. What TV shows inspires you/sparks your imagination most, and/or what's the best TV show to veg out to? Project Runway and Top Chef. It takes me out of my comfort zone and makes me want to improve my cooking/fashion
6. Have you ever been on TV? No, but I'd love to be on Wheel of Fortune. That's on my Bucket List.

@amlrunner YES to the West Wing! Completely! I only wish we really lived in that world! And that's so cool that you were in broadcasting. It must have been exciting on the sidelines of professional sporting events, I love soccer!
@lemonliz I'm a big NPR fan too. It's funny because when I was growing up that's what was ALWAYS on in my mom's car, nothing else. And we spent a lot of time in the car going to and from Hebrew school. I hated it. Now when I voluntarily listen to it every day I have to laugh!
1. What TV show do you wish was still on the air? Friends, How I Met Your Mother (only to get a different ending...that one was so anticlimactic!).
2. If you could live in any home from a TV series, what home would it be (either because of the home itself or the family)? The mountain home of Derrick Shepard and Meredith Grey on Grey's Anatomy. SO BEAUTIFUL!
3. What TV show are you embarrassed about watching? Castle. So silly and predictable, but I find it so funny!
4. If you had your own TV network, what sort of programming would it feature? A mix of historical & scientific documentaries and feel good fiction (a la Friends). This network would never survive because it'd be all over the place.
5. What TV shows inspires you/sparks your imagination most, and/or what's the best TV show to veg out to? History Channel documentaries or Science Channel shows. Some of the topics discussed are mind blowing.
6. Have you ever been on TV? Local non-network channel for a talent show freshman year of high school. I'm praying that video never surfaces.

@lemonliz, @bluefairy5, and @cokiebear I love The Newsroom too, I don't understand it being canceled because every episode has been amazing IMO. I watched last night and don't want to give spoilers either, but I am SUPER pissed about what happened to a character right at the end.
1. What TV show do you wish was still on the air?
Most of the shows I used to love wrapped up when they should have, like Dexter, Six Feet Under, and Lost. The one that I was pissed when it went off the air was The Borgias! I was addicted to it and then it didn't get renewed and I never got to have any closure.
2. If you could live in any home from a TV series, what home would it be (either because of the home itself or the family)?
Probably Lisa Vanderpump's home on Real Housewives (that closet!!!)
3. What TV show are you embarrassed about watching?
I have no shame about the fact that I love crappy TV sometimes... Vanderpump Rules, Real Housewives, Kardashians. DH doesn't understand how I can love shows like Homeland and Game of Thrones and then watch terrible reality TV, but what can I say? I'm complicated
4. If you had your own TV network, what sort of programming would it feature?
I haven't been happy with the movie selection on tv lately, so maybe I would make a network that plays awesome movies.
5. What TV shows inspires you/sparks your imagination most, and/or what's the best TV show to veg out to?
I like cooking shows for inspiration, and HGTV. Best show to veg out to is any of the above guilty pleasures I listed... Mondays are an 11 hour day at work for me, and I always look forward to turning on Bravo when I get home to decompress.
6. Have you ever been on TV?
Yup! I used to be a cheerleader and was on tv a couple of times for that.

New RE appt. scheduled for 1/14.
3T January Siggy Challenge: New Years Resolutions
Mine: Lose the weight I put on from booze and cookies over Christmas.
1. What TV show do you wish was still on the air? While I definitely second @amlrunner for West Wing and @triathlete23 for Gilmore Girls I'm not too upset about them since they both had good runs. There was a show on the past few years that got cancelled with no closure that was pretty stupid, but I'd really like to know where they were going with it - Revolution.
2. If you could live in any home from a TV series, what home would it be (either because of the home itself or the family)? I'm with @triathlete23 again on this one with the parents' house on Parenthood, or @LindseyM2012 for the dream home on Grey's Anatomy! I love them!
3. What TV show are you embarrassed about watching? I am slightly ashamed to admit that the Disney show Girl Meets World has a season pass on my DVR. I watch it purely for the 90's nostalgia of Boy Meets World. I actually find the new show totally contrived and overacted (as many Disney shows are), but I just can't turn away from Cory, Topanga and Shawn.
4. If you had your own TV network, what sort of programming would it feature? I think I'd do an all 80s TV channel - 80's movies, 80's music videos, 80's TV shows. Can you tell I'm feeling nostalgic in general lately?
5. What TV shows inspires you/sparks your imagination most, and/or what's the best TV show to veg out to? I love So You Think You Can Dance. The people are so talented, and it allows me delusions of grandeur about my own dancing days. It was watching that show that finally inspired me to return to ballet class as an adult more than a decade after my last class. It's obviously just for fun now.
6. Have you ever been on TV? Just some local news shows in high school for various events. Once after college on another local channel for some event I was putting on. Nothing impressive.
1. I wish Stargate was still on the air.
I would do anything for more episodes!
2. I would love to live in Rachael & Monica's apartment from Friends! DH would be in heaven. He'd laugh at ugly naked guy, have a cooking contest with Monica, and arm wrestle Joey.
3. All the TV I watch is not embarrassing in the least, not in content or frequency.
4. If I had my own TV network, it would be full of educational programming - cooking, nature, fix-it, language learning. And documentaries that are don't waste time with really...slow...fluff.
5. Anything fashion related is inspiring (in the moment) but really just a great way to veg!
6. I waved four fingers for Channel 4 News while riding down a slide at the playground. My mom managed to make me believe it was the biggest deal ever! And I had an arranged call-in from middle school princial's office to talk to the local morning news show, but for the life of me cannot remember what it was about. As far as I remember, my performance left quite a bit to be desired.
1. What TV show do you wish was still on the air?
Friends or Sex and the City! Ohhh or Desperate Housewives!
2. If you could live in any home from a TV series, what home would it be (either because of the home itself or the family)?
Family - Full House because they always seem so happy and have people around.
House - Rayna James' house in Nashville because it's big but looks so cozy!
3. What TV show are you embarrassed about watching?
Ummm I'm really not embarrassed lol but I watch all the "trashy" shows as DH calls them. So all of the Housewives, Kardashians, Chrisley Knows Best, 90 Day Fiancé, etc lol
4. If you had your own TV network, what sort of programming would it feature?
Some shows like House Hunters, maybe a talk show like Ellen's, some real shows like Pit Bulls and Parolees. A mix up of shows!
5. What TV shows inspires you/sparks your imagination most, and/or what's the best TV show to veg out to?
Well for my imagination I like shows on HGTV, for a relaxing Sunday I like Lifetime movies, and in between anything else on E!, Bravo, TLC lol
6. Have you ever been on TV?
I was in the background on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. I shook Ty's hand and met the whole cast (Mary J Blige was the guest on that episode). Then I've just been on the local news for the rescue organization I'm involved with.

1. What TV show do you wish was still on the air? I'm a Breaking Bad bitch. (Or I love Lucy.
2. If you could live in any home from a TV series, what home would it be (either because of the home itself or the family)? That 70's Show. Only because I want to be best friends with everyone on that show.
3. What TV show are you embarrassed about watching? The Young and The Restless. I grew up on that show and still have to watch it when I'm free.
4. If you had your own TV network, what sort of programming would it feature? Drama and sitcoms most likely
5. What TV shows inspires you/sparks your imagination most, and/or what's the best TV show to veg out to? Lately my husband and I have been really into American Horror Story.
6. Have you ever been on TV? I think when I was a kid there were some news people interviewing us and I was on for like five seconds.
1. What TV show do you wish was still on the air? Do I have to pick just one?!?! ha! I'd say Flight of the Concords which was an HBO show that most of you prob dont know about
2. If you could live in any home from a TV series, what home would it be (either because of the home itself or the family)? The house from Charmed! I loved that big old house
3. What TV show are you embarrassed about watching? We watch A LOT of cartoons. Like adventure time and regular show and spongebob. We're 25 and 27.
4. If you had your own TV network, what sort of programming would it feature? It'd be a combination of HGTV, and food network. and craft shows like scrapbooking and stuff I make on pinterest
5. What TV shows inspires you/sparks your imagination most, and/or what's the best TV show to veg out to? I love the HGTV shows to give me ideas:) and we veg to shows like always sunny in philly, Corner Gas, Workaholics
6. Have you ever been on TV? not really. my great grandmother was and there was a picture of me in the backround haha does that count?
So many...Gilmore Girls, Boy Meets World (though GMW is on now), Dexter, Desperate Housewives, the Office, and Jericho
2. If you could live in any home from a TV series, what home would it be (either because of the home itself or the family)?

3. What TV show are you embarrassed about watching?
None
4. If you had your own TV network, what sort of programming would it feature?
All my favorite shows, like a nostalgia channel
5. What TV shows inspires you/sparks your imagination most, and/or what's the best TV show to veg out to?
What not to wear (or shows like that), and Clean House. I veg out to the Office.
6. Have you ever been on TV?
Nope
PCOS | Anovulatory | Metformin + Letrozole
PCOS | Anovulatory | Metformin + Letrozole
1. What TV show do you wish was still on the air?
Firefly. Hands down. I have a long list of lost tv loves (I get way too attached to tv shows) So, I would also add Monk, Eureka and Warehouse 13. Also Alphas!!!
2. If you could live in any home from a TV series, what home would it be (either because of the home itself or the family)?
I am with the Parenthood crowd, although I would go with Zeek and Camille's house. @BlueFairy5, when we lived in NYC we always laughed about the ridiculously huge tv land apartments.
Seriously, have you seen Beckett's apartment in Castle! Reee-dict-u-lous!
3. What TV show are you embarrassed about watching?
I am not really embarrassed by my tv watching habits. I think currently, the most cringe worthy show would be Sleepy Hollow. The plot largely defies logic, but it is sooo good.
4. If you had your own TV network, what sort of programming would it feature?
I love me a sitcom comedy (ala Friends and HIMYM) and a good sci-fi/superhero drama. But, mostly it would be old movies. Since this is a fantasy, my network would also stream free to the entire world! I loooove TCM, but I hate how it is on the super super expensive cable package.
5. What TV shows inspires you/sparks your imagination most, and/or what's the best TV show to veg out to?
I think PBS Secrets of the Dead is pretty thought provoking, and Mythbusters inspires me to blow things up. Our repertoire consists mostly of mindless-entertainment-perfect-for-the-end-of-a-long-workday, and lately we've been making our way though Supernatural.
6. Have you ever been on TV?
Nope. I am pretty sure I would say/do something idiotic if I were ever on tv, so its probably for the best.
@ajoywilkey - make that three. I looove Flight of the Conchords! There are some days I can't get "Too Many Dicks on the Dance Floor" out of my head.

1. What TV show do you wish was still on the air?
I went through a terrible rough patch a few years ago. It seemed like every new show I started watching got canceled and there was absolutely no closure. The two that really stand out are Awake (Jason Issacs was a cop who would alternate between two realities, one where his wife had died and the other where his son had) and Terra Nova.
2. If you could live in any home from a TV series, what home would it be (either because of the home itself or the family)?
Lorelei and Rory's house...and I'd eat breakfast at Luke's every day!
3. What TV show are you embarrassed about watching?
America's Next Top Model...
4. If you had your own TV network, what sort of programming would it feature?
Oh gosh, it would probably be a hodge podge of every old show I love.
5. What TV shows inspires you/sparks your imagination most, and/or what's the best TV show to veg out to?
I wouldn't say TV inspires me. I can veg out to HGTV like it's my job, though. Wouldn't that be great if it were?
6. Have you ever been on TV?
When I was a baby my mom was interviewed for the local news while she was out shopping and she as holding me, but that's it.Me 30, H 30

3. What TV show are you embarrassed about watching? All of the Real Housewives, unfortunately....
4. If you had your own TV network, what sort of programming would it feature? Everything reality...but not trashy reality. Real reality. If that even exists.
5. What TV shows inspires you/sparks your imagination most, and/or what's the best TV show to veg out to? The Food Network - makes me wanna cook! Or eat.
6. Have you ever been on TV? No, but I was an extra on a movie! Save the Last Dance

1. What TV show do you wish was still on the air?
Did anyone watch "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" on Nickelodeon? I loved that show so much! I also LOVED Madd TV!
2. If you could live in any home from a TV series, what home would it be (either because of the home itself or the family)?
Hmmmm I have no idea. I like mountain cabins, which is why I moved to the mountains, but can't recall any mountain homes on TV!
3. What TV show are you embarrassed about watching?
I'm not embarrassed to watch anything! I'm a total TV whore and spend hours watching it and I don't care if that sounds unhealthy! I used to watch Breaking Amish until I realized HOW fake it is!
4. If you had your own TV network, what sort of programming would it feature? Real crime stories (20/20, Dateline), science shows like Nova and documentaries. I love documentaries.
5. What TV shows inspires you/sparks your imagination most, and/or what's the best TV show to veg out to? Love Nova and Nature and PBS and HGTV gets me going with home decorating ideas. I like to watch Bizarre Foods and Life Below Zero when I'm just chillin drinking my vino.
6. Have you ever been on TV?
I got into a bad car accident when I was 19. My car was hit and the other car ended up going through a residential fence into a swimming pool. Luckily the guys car had roll down windows as just as he slipped out of the window the car sank. The local news aired the car being lifted out of the pool with a crane, I was in the background. Needless to say State Farm dropped me and my parents from their policy after the accident (whoops).
