Let's at least some action going..
=====================
Jacob is just laughing all.the.time. I mean full on belly laughs, melts my heart. And he will just stare and smile at his sister anytime she near him.
Sarah, well, I don't know if this will be cute later in life, but right now it's pretty darn funny. Once she's dressed and you tell her how cute she looks, she poses then says "mirr" - wanting to look at herself in a mirror. You take her to one and she puts her hand on her face, tilts her head and says "Aww!"
She's also started saying "Aw Man" when something doesn't happen the way it should.
Re: So, what cute thing is your child doing right now?
She's learning "Spanglish" of sorts.
Dinner/food = pita (short for papita)
All done/no more = bah (not sure this is really a word, but my dad uses it and he is mexican)
Look = mira
She uses these words all the time. I had to translate for daycare this morning. Apparently she ran around for a month calling all the little girls nina and the daycare had no clue that nina = little girl in spanish.

Alex has been very cuddley with me lately. He has been laying on the couch with me and he'll hold my face in his hands. If I try to look away he says "no, just look at me, mommy." Then he stares at me smiling.
It is pretty funny. If I say anything he says "No talking, just look at me!" LOL
well, i don't know if this qualifies as cute, but today truitt put his hands on my bewbs and asked what they were. nice.
Amelia's new word is no...anything we ask her about her answer is no. When we ask her if she wants a piece of candy (a vitamin) she starts dancing, clapping and giggling...no "no" there.
Any time Amelia joins me in the desk chair she starts bouncing and dancing because we watch Elmo songs together on the computer. She's starting to try to sing along too...so cute!
?
Haha, Orion always stares and points if I take my shirt off in front of him.?
Oh there's so much. ?He's started answering questions with, "ummmm..." and then thinking about it. ?He's also very upset that the tree and Christmas lights are gone so he's been asking, "Where'd tree go?" or saying "Oh no, light on gone!"
?Then the other night I had my belly exposed and DH and I were watching the baby move. ?There was a fist or heel sticking out so we could see it real well. ?Orion was on the couch with us and he reached over, pulled my shirt back down, and said, "Done Mom." ?No more looking at the baby for us.?
If you call for her from another room... she will tell you "just a second" or "in a minute" like her life is so busy. She also introduces everyone when someone who isn't around much comes over "this is mommy, this is daddy, this is grandma, etc" It's hilarious to watch b/c she acts like she fully expects you to call them "mommy daddy grandma."
On a funny but annoying note... She has started calling DH his nickname that Micaela calls him (i'm sure b/c she hears it so much, rather than "daddy") and occasionally she yell for me and say "jennifer" instead of mommy. I know it's b/c that's what she hears from everyone else... but it's mildly annoying sometimes!
Addie has a new fondness for my dad. She wakes up in the morning talking about him. Whenever she would see his truck she would call "ganpa!" and apparently it goes both ways. when i was using his computer all the log on passwords were her name. but that's more an aw for my dad (she's the 5th grandkid).
she does the aww man thing too (or worse, oh crap). and she started asking questions and responding with oh ok after you answer. i guess that's a funny in person one.
Joey is giving kisses (sometimes with a closed mouth
)
He is giving AWESOME hugs! Like melt your heart down the quick hugs!
He is signing monkey while making monkey sounds.... and Lion while roaring. It's hysterical.
He says HO HO HO when you ask what Santa says.
He is just so funny... he makes me laugh all the time... well when he's not making me want to scream... but I am now trying to remember what he did the other day that just made me LOL.
dd has started to belly laugh. she loves to "fly" and giggles whenever we hold her up.
she has also begun to discover the dog, and laughs when we help her pet him.
Kendall likes to "wirte" our names on her Magna Doodle...she'll scribble 3 different lines and then say "that says Kendall, and that said Kelly, and that says Todd" while pointing to each different line. I think it's so sweet and smart, too!
Passing out books to everyone, and then sitting down to read to himself. I guess it is story time for everyone.
He also "reads" the books he knows the words to; he makes up the words to the others.
All very cute for almost 2.
Connor has started waving goodbye and saying the word anytime he goes just about anywhere in the house. He walks away from the toys and does it, walks away from either DH or I and does it, etc. The funniest was when he didn't want to go to sleep the other night and wiggled out of my arms in the glider, walked to his bedroom door then turned to me, waved and said "bye-bye" like he was going to leave the room. He has done this at naptime as well.
Other than that, he is jabbering up a storm and has these little conversations with you that you can't understand. We figure out a word he is saying every now and then, especially if hand gestures are involved, but for the most part it's like listening to him speak a foreign language.
Around bedtime, when DH kisses DS goodnight, DS immediately insists that DH kiss me, too. So cute!
