Quiet day on the home front. Church and probably lunch out because my IL's aren't doing family lunch today (they normally do on Sunday). I have some school work to do, some cleaning around the house etc.. I have to get a parcel of Christmas presents ready to send in the mail as well as address cards to be mailed.

It looks like a pretty day, so maybe I'll try to get Nora to the playground or something else outdoorsy.

Brunch for my mom's 60th today. Imma eat all the bacon.

About 3 am this morning I heard what sounded like a fighter jet taking off in my bedroom. I literally jumped out of bed because it scared the shit out of me and I threw out my back. It turned out to be air in the baseboard heating pipes. My husband laughed at me and said he hasn't seen me move that quick in 8 months. I'll make him pay today....

I read that this morning and was fighting back tears. My daughter kept asking what was wrong and saying "don't cry mommy." Life is so unfair sometimes

Insomnia is crushing my bank account. I was up at 2 again and bought some boots and 2 pairs of leggings. I'm ashamed. I got an end of year bonus at work and I'm going to have none left to put in savings before Christmas comes

I had a dream I slept with Shemar Moore. It's the only sex dream I've had my entire pregnancy. I'm tempted to watch another marathon of Criminal Minds before going to bed tonight to see if it happens again.

I know I've done a lot of complaining the last few days about being sick... but I'm going to do it again haha.  The night before last the pain in my ears was absolutely unbearable.   I got about 1.5 hours of sleep, so I was first in line at the clinic in the morning.  They diagnosed me with an upper respiratory infection and both my ears are infected so I'm on some antibiotics now, along with 3 pregnancy safe OTC meds and all I can say is that it's at least bearable now.  I'm also on bed rest until there's improvement.  TMI, but currently my ears, eyes, nose and lungs are all leaking mucus and I'm a disgusting germ ball lol.  I cannot wait to start feeling better.

On the plus side, DH has been very sweet in taking care of me.  He made me a tasty dinner last night, did the dishes, and even gave me the burnt cheese off the top of his stuffed pepper (which we both agree is the best part!)

I slept in! My H took a 5am feeding and I was I-) and it was amazing.  I feel totally lazy today and want to do absolutely nothing, but I should be doing stuff. It can wait until tomorrow, I think.

I love him and I have a total crush on the scrawny Reid on the show, too!  I've been watching this show from the beginning on Netflix.  

We put our tree up last night!  The kids are bummed that I don't have the energy for my 'village' this year.  It's a lot of work!  My house is small; this baby better come after all my decorations are down.

I can't do anything fun anymore without having contractions.  DH and I were attempting sexy time this morning for the first time in FOREVER and they started up.  Poor guy.

I'm scrolling through looking at siggies and I see people's tickers at 36, 37 weeks and I'm like "how the hell did we get here so quickly??" 

Anyway, that's all I have today.

I saw my friends 1 week old baby yesterday. I alternated between being terrified of having 2 kids to being excited and thinking I will be able to handle it after all.

DD loved the baby. She read her books, gave her toes kisses, held her, and tried to give her a sippy of milk when she cried.

But this baby is just like DD was...wanted to be held 24/7 and wanted the boob in her mouth all the time. I think I need to splurge and get a ktan carrier or something. I have an ergo and mei tai but I don't think it will be very comfortable with a newborn.

DH left the bedroom over 2 hours ago to make breakfast - he's just starting now. He did, however, need to refill the salt so he re-organized the overflow pantry - the one that he goes in twice a year and that I use most of the time. So now everything is organized to his liking but there's not enough space for the stuff that will need to go in there next time I make a trip to BJ's. His response to me was that if I used more napkins instead of paper towels, I would have space - I just walked away.  Now he can put the stuff away when I purchase it - one less thing on my plate.

I had honey nut cheerios for breakfast because I could no longer wait for the bacon.  

I bought a box of Turtles the other night, they are almost gone  Piggy Peggels.

I should do something productive today but can't decide if that means decorating or working on the baby's dresser.

Can you email her back and tell her she's got the wrong person? I used to have this old lady call me thinking I was he granddaughter Lindsay for months. She always left the sweetest voicemails and despite me calling back to tell her that she had the wrong number, Grandma Marilyn kept calling she had the most wonderful Brooklyn accent too.

I want a crazy old lady!  Oh wait, DH's 91 yo grandma calls 3x a day.  I'm good.

21 days.  What. The. Fuck.  Half of me wants her evicted and the other half wants her to stay until after Christmas.  I'm a walking contradiction.  

Off to work and food shopping!  What an exciting day in store for me.

My parents constantly get calls from people who want to rent houses/apartments in the town they live in. The rental company is one number off from my parents, but it astounds me how many people can get it wrong. We watched their house for a week, answered the phone and told this guy he had the wrong number. He hung up on me and CALLED BACK! 

My random: My H is having an episode this weekend. Every time he opens his mouth, it's to say something insensitive and start an argument with me. He came to bed at 3am last night and tried to start shit with me. I'm trying to be understanding that he has a lot on his mind, and just lost a very close family friend, but don't take it out on me! I'm going to just let him sleep through football, his own fault for staying up so late. 

Also, I'm afraid to look at D14.

Monday night it was 5 hours, and Wednesday night it was was three, the pain was to the point that I was on my hands and knees in the shower trying to find relief. And then they just stopped. Seriously?!?! Make up your freaking mind!

We took DS to watch the kids at the church down the road in their Christmas concert it was cute! DS is still too young to participate but he gets to play with them after. Then they have a nice lunch in the church basement, so the socializing makes it worth it!

DS is now down for a nap and I planned on getting something accomplished while he slept, but while I was looking for something in on of my cupboards, I knocked something out and when I stood up to put it back I smashed my head off the corner of the cupboard door SO HARD!! Now I have a massive headache in that location so I'm laying down.

This just reminded me of the other day when DD1 asked if she'd be able to hold the baby. She's 5 and she's so excited! It's going to be simply amazing watching her with baby. I am also freaking out a little adding another child, but I keep telling myself it'll be ok. 4's not too different from 3, right?

I think DD has the flu.  She even had her birthday party yesterday, so now I have to call her friend's parents and let them know.

I woke up this morning with the most murderous hip pain I've ever been plagued by. Nothing is helping

I'm used to the inner-tendon/cord of my leg (by my groin/in the fold of the leg) being tight when I get up, but this has gone full-on wrap-around to just under my main butt-muscles, and now the outer muscles of my hips-- in no way connected to the other muscles/pain-- feel lke my hip bones are shredding through them trying to poke through the outside of my legs.

The outer hip pain is what kills; I can waddle my way wherever to amuse the inner-leg pains, but outer leg pains I'm at a loss. Trying to massage some arnica tincture into them, if that doesn't work, I'm gonna attempt a hot shower later. If I'm this fucking sore now, I don't even want to -think- about how miserable I'm going to be in a month or so.

Also having fibro on top of this all does not help. At all.

I bought this today hoping it would be like a non-alcoholic sangria. Not quite, but it was pretty good. DS just went down for a nap, and I'm thinking about one too.

I feel like I am losing my mind. The littlest thing seems to set me into a tail spin. I have been such a bitch I can't even stand myself. How many times do I have to say shut the lights off when you leave the room? NINE TIMES I had to shut the bathroom light off this morning.....but nobody went in the bathroom....right.....I truly think the two teenagers are going to more difficult than the baby I am about to have.

I'm soo darn tired! We had to rush our husky to the er vet at midnight, thankfully it was nothing too serious (with her it usually is) we didn't get home until after 1:30 and I couldn't pass out until after 3. 

I saw the news on d14, I can't even imagine.

Yeah I've had contractions for two weeks and timetable ones 4 different night and then they stop. I need baby to stay in one more week but I don't think this bed rest is preventing anything.

@VioletGjoni‌, can you sit on the sofa and reach your toes if you put your foot on the coffee table, or do you have someone who can help you?

Mine are looking pretty bad too, and I was thinking when to do the pedicure so that my toes will be pretty during delivery. I know that will probably be the least of my worries, but I think it will make me feel good! I think I'll get a pedicure between 38 and 39 weeks.
