DH is snoring so loudly so I moved to the couch. :-/

Not sure why my first post was blank. Stupid bump.
Have a nice Sunday everyone!!

My parents get in today! We haven't seen them since early August and I'm beyond thrilled for them to see LO. They will be staying with us for most of the winter. Poor DH (even though he loves my parents, it's still a different dynamic with them here). The upside? Dh&i go to the Caribbean next week sans baby! I'm so excited and at the same time already miss Eva.
I'm making soup, pot roast (trying out econmama's recipe), brussel sprouts, corn and cole slaw for dinner.
We are planning on getting our tree today. I am going to try to talk H into going downtown today to see the Christmas market and Santa. We will see, though. Ben seems to be in better spirits today, and it is supposed to be sunny today. After a few days of rain, it would be nice to get out.
Morning! My big kids get up so gol darn early. ..ugh.
I am in charge of a pancake feed for my dance group today until 1 then the in laws are coming to visit for the afternoon. Should be a good Sunday overall! I'm hoping to get some presents wrapped and other gifts organized.
I really wanted to start spam around 230 but could not think of a title. My brain was fried. G woke at 1 drenched in spit up/throw up. DH changed the sheets while I changed G. He then fought going back to sleep for two hours. Now that he's up for the day, he seems fine.... :-??
DD and DS loved the polar express! They loved when Santa and the elves came and then frosty, and Rudolph. DD's face was so cute when she took her first sip of hot chocolate! She loved it!
We were going to skip the Bailey's this year in the interest of money and calories.
The local grocer in DH's hometown has 1-liter bottles for $3.99.
Headed to stock up as soon as liquor sales start today.

This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome. 131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.
Too bad I am pouring this Bailey's into Maxwell House. But on the bright side, at least I am pouring some Bailey's into my Maxwell House :-bd

My grandpa died last night in his sleep. He was 93 and had been ill for years, but it's still a shock. I'm waiting to hear back from my mom but I'm going to fly up to Ohio in the next day or 2. I'm so sad that he's gone, but I'm so thankful he was at home and not in a hospital. And I'm so grateful he got to meet Aiden. I miss him already.
@biggunsbo love the pictures, and your skin looks amazing!
I've been up since 5, not because of the babies, but because of working on a sick horse. I just got home an hour ago and DD proceeded to puke all over herself and is running a fever again. She's bathed and snuggled in with the iPad. Good times.
@merc5411 I'm so sorry! It's so hard to lose a loved one around the holidays (not that it's easy any time, but it's especially hard now). >:D<
P has figured out how to take off the top of his sippy cups and dump water everywhere. We've been using the take and toss cups b/c they were the only ones he could figure out when we switched to a sippy. Now I don't know what to do. What cup does your J13er use? He doesn't get straw cups yet and there's no way I'm giving him an actual cup.
Jk. Holy crap, what was in my wine last night? Thanks to all who entertained me last night. Pretty sure I played a game with myself of how many bumpies I can find on my phone and text them. @-)
James is starting to communicate so much - he had a diaper rash the other day and told me "poo poo hot! Owie! Owie!" Then just now he pointed in his mouth and said "teeth owie! Teeth owie!"
@biggunsbo hey I have one of those! Does that mean I'm in the faction too? 8->

You would be SOL if you lived here @gutsymama! Its a Sunday in the state if Indiana, were no booze can be sold.
@Fayga 9am on Sundays in MO. At every liquor store, grocery store, convenience store, gas station, and most Targets. Also probably in the neighbor's basement. Sip on that, sugar bitches ;;)
The 1.75L bottle of Bailey's is $43.99. We got 3 liters for $12.94, including tax.

I should not be allowed to make coffee before I've had my coffee. First I turned the wrong burner on; when I realized it, I moved the kettle to the burner that was on. I then proceeded to turn that burner off and turn on the one I had originally meant to use. It took me about 20 minutes just to boil water. 8-}

Question for the Amazon pros. Do any of you have their Store Card? Pros/cons? Is it just a credit card? And rewards to go along with it?
I order on Amazon a lot so if they had a card like the Target Red Card, I'd be game. If it's just another credit card, I'd have to run the other direction.
I have it, I pretty much use it only for Amazon purchases. It's basically just like any other credit card, you get points for every dollar spent and those points can be used for purchases on Amazon. You get three points for every dollar spent on Amazon and one point for purchases elsewhere. I think two points for gas and food? I buy a ton on Amazon, so for me it's worth it.

I threw some cheese in the dog's dish that Silas had tossed overboard during breakfast. Guess who just walked into the living room munching on some cheese? (Hint, it wasn't the dog)

So much to do today.....
We're going to get a tree and dig the Christmas decorations out of storage. I'm really excited. Plus, dh is home all week. Yay!
