1. One of the most popular types of sushi in Hawaii involves Spam? 2. Spam was first introduced in 1937. 3. The term Spam email is thought to come from a Monty Python sketch. 4. The Commonwealth of the Northern Marianna Islands has McDonalds with Spam on the menu. 5. Becks2012 is shamelessly addicted to wikipedia and will now probably spend the remainder of her night clicking little blue links that lead her further down the rabbit hole that is that website. Ugh...my ex-MIL made this cold spam/noodle/velveeta casserole that she served EVERY. DAMN. WEEK. I still have nightmares about that shit.
What? Cold? No.

DH mentioned to my parents at some point that he doesn't think spam is that bad, and since then they've bought him some cans of it. It's still sitting in our pantry. He also mentioned that he likes hot sauce, and they've given us 10 bottles.
Now he just says "I like scotch," but that's not working as well.
Since I know you guys are probably just too embarrassed to ask for the recipe...here is the closest thing I could find, but replace cheddar with Velveeta because if you're going processed, you gotta go all the way:
MACARONI AND SPAM SALAD
2 c. dry macaroni 2 tbsp. salad oil 2 tbsp. vinegar 1 tbsp. minced onion 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 c. diced cheddar cheese 1 (12 oz.) can spam, diced 1/3 c. mayonnaise 1 c. diced celery 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, cooked
Cook and drain macaroni; while still hot, drizzle with oil, vinegar, onion seasonings and cheese. Toss well. Gently mix Spam, mayonnaise, celery and peas into macaroni. Chill thoroughly.

In elementary school, we had to have spam in our emergency kits. Um gross! I'd rather starve than eat spam! Also, that recipe for Macaroni and Spam Salad sounds really nasty!
Re: Spam
