@ExcitedMama2‌, that is nasty.

DH mentioned to my parents at some point that he doesn't think spam is that bad, and since then they've bought him some cans of it. It's still sitting in our pantry. He also mentioned that he likes hot sauce, and they've given us 10 bottles.

Now he just says "I like scotch," but that's not working as well.

In elementary school, we had to have spam in our emergency kits. Um gross! I'd rather starve than eat spam! Also, that recipe for Macaroni and Spam Salad sounds really nasty!

I actually mentioned this a couple days ago but my BIL once found a generic version of SPAM called S'MEAT. Like regular SPAM isn't gross enough.

FWIW, I actually don't mind spam. It has to be sliced thin and fried up pretty crispy. I don't eat it often, but when I do that's how I like it.


I also live in the state that makes scrapple, so clearly I have no say in what counts as good foods.
