So we recently found out that we are having a boy! Awesome news but ppl have been asking if we are sure... (I attached a picture) they keep telling me stories that the u/s tech said boy but it was a girl and visa versa. I'm very much into boys wearing blue and girls wearing pink so I don't want to only buy green and yellow clothes!
To me, this is definitely a little boy... But I had an early u/s (16 weeks) so could it be wrong?!

16 weeks is a little early, but the genitalia is completely formed by this point so I would listen to the trained technician, not your friends stories. Just wait for your anatomy scan if it really bothers you.

I don't know what is wrong with people judging you by putting a photo of your baby up. The way I see it you are just confused and want some answers from other people that has gone and done that.

By the photo, I am not sure. My little boy was so obvious, but I did mine at 20 weeks. So I know there was no mistake there.

That is why I chose not to have 16 week gender ultrasound or in general. It can be too early to actually tell for sure. I would go for another scan sometime in the future from 20 weeks and /or up if you would like a more 100% answer.

It looks all boy to me. Serious question though-- if you had doubts why not go to an elective place to double check? What if we are wrong?
