Whatcha Doin' Today?

I'm feeling semi-productive.  I finished my Christmas shopping and shipping; now I'm wrapping presents, doing laundry, went shopping for a new lamp (although didn't buy one), and will probably work on thank-you cards today.  Just trying to get as much done as possible before this kid shows up.

I am doing absolutely nothing due to DH and DD with the stomach flu. I'm elbow deep in shit, y'all. Ew. Also have SD2 for the weekend so we're just hanging out. Might try to decorate, but I dunno. It's been a long week and I just want to veg, but the upside is that I will get pho for dinner! Mmm!

Skipped breakfast bc of morning sickness, had a craving for sushi at lunch so DH an DD went with me to pick some up. Then we all went to the zoo. All the kangaroo ladies are in various stages of pregnancy. The oldest Joey is old enough to stick his head out. It's all very cute! But I was sick the whole time.

Then DH had to run errands and I played sims3 while DD took a glorious 2.5 hour nap.

Now I'm daydreaming about hot and sour soup bc everything we actually have on hand is unappetizing. DD is playing with a stack of paper bathroom cups, DH is making his dinner and we'll probably just hang out together until bedtime.

Not much going on today. Grocery shopped in the morning. Played with the kids after lunch/nap. Then I made dinner and chocolate chip cookies. I watch Christmas movie/played with the kids. I just laid ds down. He didn't nap well, and since he is over tired, he decided all the ornaments needed to come off the tree. Currently, dh and dd are playing on the computer as I " clean up the kitchen.". Dd well go to bed soonish. I am trying to decide if I am going t force dh to watch it's a wonderful life, or if we are going to wrap presents

DH and I are attempting to semi finish and clean up the basement so we can make a playroom for Kenzie. We are painting the walls and floor. But we have so much crap and it's pretty gross. Then I played with Kenzie and worked around the rest of the house. DH went to work the clock at a Rutgers Newark basketball game so Kenzie and I are watching a Mickey Mouse Christmas movie. And I am bumping and texting with my best friend. Pretty good day.

DS had his birthday party today. My house was full of 7 extra kids and DD was on the middle of it all. Now its 7 and she is passed out in my lap

@pinesnow 38 + 4.  Doc says I am at 3cm and 75% effaced, so I could go into labor at any time.  They told me that with DS and I was induced at 6 days overdue (I was at 2.5cm and 80% effaced for five weeks).  So who knows.

DH is working on the baby's room today, so I am hoping by the time the weekend is over, that room is organized and ready for a child (not that it needs to be right away).

We didn't do much. I did laundry and hung out with my kids this morning while DH was out hunting. DD took a horrible nap for the seventh day in a row. She has been sick all week with a cold so I'm hoping it's because of that and not because she's going to stop napping permanently (although she does not seem to be suffering from the lack of naps which is a little worrisome that they might be ending....). We went out for pizza and I got a new pair of boots and two pairs of pants for DD with $60 of Kohl's cash that DH's grandparents gave us, so that was pretty awesome.

DH is out of town this weekend. Amidst bouts of diarrhea, I dragged the kids out to the grocery store to get myself some Immodium.This is one of those times I really wish we had family in the area to help out.

I've been dealing with really bad diarrhea and vomitting since Tuesday. I thought I had the stomach flu, but it's gotten worse towards the end of the week, not better as time has gone on. Now I'm wondering if the dirrhea is actually a really strange reaction to early pregnancy.

Once the Immodium mercifully started to help I took the kids out to an open gym session at a gymnastics gym where they can run around, bounce on trampolines, jump in foam pits, etc.. It's only held once a month so I didn't want them to miss it.

I'm supposed to hang out with a group of neighbors tonight after the kids go to bed but I'm so sick and exhausted I just want to bail. It's someone's birthday though.

We had a day full of tantrums and screaming. Sigh. I hate two.

But we got our Christmas tree up and decorated. And DH let me sleep on the couch for life the hours this afternoon. It was lovely.

Have you been to the doctor? Do you have pain? A friend of a friend had that and she had a blockage which is very serious. Not trying to scare you, just want to mention just to be aware. Hugs to you, I hope you get better soon, that sounds awful, I am so sorry!
