I’ve been getting little bits here and there, so this is a totally crazy hodgepodge compared to some others I’ve seen here. I took your advice to try a variety of things seriously! But it feels like I may be getting close to having what we need to get started, so I thought I’d consult.
The absorbent stuff:
-4 small snapless Workhorses
-7 imagine prefolds size small
-3 Econobum prefolds.
-3 Panda Tushies prefolds
-1 Goodmamma fitted.
-3 Kissaluvs fitted size 0
-3 unknown prefolds. (Recommended for use as doublers)
-Small stack mixed flats of various sources and sized
Covers:
2 XS Bummis covers
1 Thirsties Sz1 cover
2 Assunta Tiny covers
4 newborn Dappi covers
1 Fuzzibunz cover
Other:
2 Nicki’s AIO,
2 Snap Bum Genius 4.0s
6 Kawaii P&Ns, NB to one size with 2 sets inserts
I
know I need the Snappis and wet bags still. I have a ton of fabric lying
around, and a sewing machine collecting dust that cost more than my computer,
so at some point I’m going to make my own wipes. We also have a few of the disposable
liners, some recommended detergent (Allens), and Motherlove ointment in the
registry.
What should I be watching for on the swaps? ;-) Thanks in advance!!
ETA: Sorry about crazy formatting. Copied and pasted from a doc, and it won't let me fix.
Re: Critique a crazy stash in progress?
I would get some aplix because I like snaps long term but the aplix helped to adjust to her size better.
RUmparooz NB (RAR) covers newborn still fit her at 13 lbs and six weeks old. Bummis NB covers are too small now as are the bum genius AIO NB.
Everything else still fits (imagine, lil Joey, and kawaii NB) and her one size BG diapers are too big still.
What about wetbags/pail liners? I recommend two large hanging bags or two liners (one for use while other washes) and 2-4 wetbags depending on whether you need then for DC or not.
