Exciting Changes to TTCAL - How do we handle them?

Woohoo! Some of the recent threads about TTC check ins has got some good debate and commentary going! We’re on the edge of a new TTCAL horizon, I can feel it!
There was the question as to whether or not we should vote on the check in changes, and it got me thinking. I’d like to get the board as a whole’s opinion on how we should handle suggestions to make big changes like the general structure of the board and such. Democracy FTW!
To be clear, this is not a poll for “should we change the check-ins.”
This poll is asking:
how would you like changes in general to be handled on the board?

I'm just really glad the board is not a democracy - at least not a pure 1 person 1 vote democracy.

I wasn't looking for any specific effect. I myself am split on the decision - I see good points on both sides.
