I'm ba-aaack (losses mentioned)

Hello again. I'm Bookish. Can I come back? A few weeks ago, I had my 4th loss in a year's time. Thank God the year is almost over because I'm ready to flush 2014 down the shitter. I used to hang out here before my last BFP and I'd love to hang out with you ladies again.  

For those who don't remember me or have intro-ed since I left. I have one DS, born in July 2011. No difficulties with his conception or birth. But we've made up for that while TFAS. Since we started TTC #2 in October 2013, I've had 4 BFPs and 4 losses. The last 2 have been after seeing a heartbeat. I'm sick of this and I want answers, dammit! I should also mention that DH has MFI--1% morphology. It hasn't prevented me from getting KU but I can't help but wonder if it's playing a role in the losses. 

I've been seeing an RE since May and have had more pokes with a needle than a junkie, trying to get to the bottom of what's going on. The latest news is that, in the report from the ultrasound that was done in the ER, the tech noted that my uterus has a "septate shape." Say what? I might have a septum? That would explain a lot. I'm having an MRI next week to see WTAF is up with my ute. From there, we'll be talking with the RE about either removal of the septum or, if no septum, plans for fertility treatments.

Also, I like wine. A lot.

    August 2015: IVF #3.  14R, 13M, 11F.  Froze 5 blasts for CCS testing.  3 normals.  FET planned for 10/2015.

    Hugs bookish. I'm sorry you're back, I am right there with you ready to say goodbye to 2014. Hope you can get some straight answers soon. 



    P.S I didn't realize your son was born in July 11, I'm a July 11 Mama too. I was very active on the BMB.

    BFP #7 (beyond surprised again!) 4/26/16. EDD 1/5/17. beautiful betas!!!! and then near-fatal hemorrhagic corpus luteum. turns out baby was ectopic after all; another lap 5/6 (@24dpo).

    2nd and last IVF cycle August 2015, stimmed for 12 days, 2 egg retrieved, both mature and both fertilized.  Transferred both 8-cell embryos on Day 3, beta 9/5/15 = BFFN
    MOVING TO ADOPTION!
