Is it supposed to be funny? I love Christopher Walken, and was going to watch Peter Pan if others said it was good.

I lurve Walken but I didn't get to watch it. Was knitting things and forgot all about it.

Their biggest mistake was expecting Christopher Walken to act like anyone other than Christopher Walken.

That is what makes it hilarious (to me) anyway

I find it odd they had a grown woman play an adolescent boy, it's creepy.

I didn't catch it last night because (a) we don't have cable and don't get signal from major stations where we love and (b) I was working. But I really want to see Christopher Walken play Captain Hook, so I'm hoping it ends up on HuluPlus. Anyone know if it's there already by any chance?? Currently giving DD a bath and haven't had time to check!

Yup, it's on hulu already.

And I totally agree with colinsfebmommy. I think it's so weird that having a woman play Peter Pan is a thing. Seems ridiculous.

Given the range of most of the songs, absent an adolescent boy, a woman is the perfect vocal fit.

I also grew up with Mary Martin as my default image of Peter Pan, so it would actually be weird to me if the part WASN'T played by a woman.

I guess that makes sense, but I still don't like it. I don't think it will ever sit right with me. I love Peter Pan though.

I caught five minutes of it in the middle...too odd for me.  I also love Christopher Walken, but I heard he had a hard time with it.  *Sad face*

I thought is was good. Mackenzie loved it and we have started singing the I gotta crow song.
But Walken was not very good. I feel like he didn't put any effort into it.
I think sometimes people who are so harsh on it forget they are watching a live performance and expect it to look like a movie
