The live Peter Pan musical last night on NBC?
Christopher Walken. That's all I have to say.
DH and I have never laughed so hard in our lives.

And I totally agree with colinsfebmommy. I think it's so weird that having a woman play Peter Pan is a thing. Seems ridiculous.
Haha, yeah. Unless we want to bring back castrati?
I also grew up with Mary Martin as my default image of Peter Pan, so it would actually be weird to me if the part WASN'T played by a woman.
I caught five minutes of it in the middle...too odd for me. I also love Christopher Walken, but I heard he had a hard time with it. *Sad face*
But Walken was not very good. I feel like he didn't put any effort into it.
I think sometimes people who are so harsh on it forget they are watching a live performance and expect it to look like a movie
