My confession is that I really think we should make a thread to show off our pets since half the time they're in our bump Picts. I felt too embarrassed to start it though since I don't know if anyone else thinks it's a good idea.

I'm angry at H&M right now. Well, the sales person I spoke with on the phone. We don't have an H&M around here and I fell in love with a coat on their website. The only maternity coat I can find locally is at Motherhood and it was twice the price of the H&M coat. So, not knowing what size really I should get, I called. Explained on their size chart I fall between a S and a M bc of my chest size, but I want to be able to wear a sweatshirt under the jacket for tailgating/super cold days. The guy told me if I think I'm between a S/M, then I'm actually between a M/L, so I should go with a Large. Hesitatingly, I did as suggested. Mofocoat was HUGE. Now, three weeks later, I'm still waiting for my exchange coat and freezing in the meantime. /endrant

@redheaded14 I FEEL YOU ON THE WINE! I love wine. So much.  I have these nice wine bottles in my wine fridge that just stare and mock me daily. The people that tell me I can 'have a little' just don't understand. & yes, this coming from the same people that wouldn't bat an eye if I declined pre-pregnancy.

Except once when I got side-eyed by DH's friend for declining wine. Dude knew I was preggo before anyone else just because of that haha...

Ha!  I did this too at 4th of July.  It helped for a while, but man I want a drink so bad these days...and not a few sips, a giant glass of beer or wine!

LOL you too! I had not been "partying" in a while and we were invited to Ft. Lauderdale for the weekend. DH and I got wasted lol this was about a month before we found out about the baby on the way.

I have put all of our U/S photos in an album, but I don't record anything.  I generally do not like one thing about being pregnant and I'm super terrified for when she gets here.  My brain melts down when I try to think about breast feeding, pumping, and when dear God will I have time to run again or some time just for me. 

I know I'm one and done, but I'm so freaking tired of people trying to tell me otherwise, I want my body back, I want alcohol damn it, and I want to get rid of these blasted boobs.

This might be more of a UO than a confession, but I'm so tired of all these subscription box services. The first time I heard of one (birch box) I thought it was awesome, but now it seems like the only way to launch a business.

This. This drives me insane. My FIL asked if I wanted a little wine last time we were home, and I declined. Then he went on and on about how I could have a little, it's not a big deal, don't be so worried, yada yada yada. Screw you, if I wasn't pregnant and said no you wouldn't think twice so let's not make it an issue now, k thanks. Also, at this point, I don't want "a little" wine. I want to chug the bottle and do flaming shots.

Next time FIL gives you grief about a "little wine"  ask him for a "little crack" to go with it and see how he reacts!  That's what I'm going to do. I get crap about not drinking caffeine all the time so next time I'll throw in a drug reference and see what they say.

Thats a great idea but I live in Canada and the province is in control of  liquor sales so we dont get any "good deals" on booze here. we pay a ton for it and a 'deal' is seeing a $1 off sticker if we are lucky. We are also not allowed to import it from elsewhere like  direct from a vineyard

The dog just shit in the house and I told my husband I was not allowed to pick it up. I said it was like cleaning out the litter box and they carried some sort of disease. I'm going to use that one for cleaning up the yard too since the landscaper just finished up for the season. Feel free to steal this one.

I may have also told him I was restricted from lifting. Of course--I didn't tell him how much (25lbs according to the doctor). He carries in all the groceries including the light bags...because...you know...I'm pregnant. I'm not even a little ashamed.

Indiana here.  Lived in northern IL for a few years...go up there several times a year, my dad's family still in the western suburbs of chicago (aunts/uncles/gparents)

I miss the western burbs. Hopefully when this nightmare without flooded house is over we can go back to living there. The south burbs are very...basic.

My confessions:
I hate when someone quotes on these boards- it's a waste of time scrolling through all that business.
I haven't taken a bump picture. I'll probably do the same thing I did with my previous pregnancies- say "oh shit I should probably have at least one picture" and have my husband take a quick one before we leave for the hospital.
Lastly (and I realize this will probably get me chased out of town by an angry mob with daggers and wooden stakes) I'm not an animal lover and the fur baby crap drives me nuts. I grew up on a farm and we had cattle, hogs, and large farm dogs. I held no affection towards any of those animals. My sister has a miniature schnauzer that she treats like a child and it makes me want to puke. She tells me I'm a cold human being not capable of loving- I resent that comment...just because I don't like animals doesn't make me a horrible person.

TMI but I haven't been "in the mood" for the past two weeks with this horrible hip pain & swelling. I feel huge!!

I guess this relates to the other post about DH wanting to romp all the time. My DH tries to compliment me etc. but goodness none of the go to "positions" are comfortable.

I came home from work this evening and DH was napping. I left my phone downstairs so I casually grabbed his to google a phone number and make a call. His browser was up with some sleezy site. I'm not a prude in any sense and we've watched "movies" together. I couldn't help but be upset & angry. Granted he just needed some release but still.......made me feel unattractive!!

Of course I woke his ass up for some 'splaining. I made him tear up bc I was such a big bitch and all he did was apologize. Crazy me even said....."why couldn't you look up pregnant porn to take care of yourself!??" Ridiculous I know!!

He died laughing. I laughed. Crisis averted. I guess that means my poor DH is feeling a little "neglected". There's my Confession

@chanstew @Karrunrun So glad that there are other midwestern ladies here. Everyone seems to be everywhere but here! No offense to the ladies around the country. But it's nice. And maybe creepy. But nice. Hahaha.

My current confession: I don't want to fucking look for a car even though I need one. OMG. I don't know what the fuck I want I just need a good 4 door sedan, 50k miles or less, 2009-2014, used, and withing about $15+/-. I've never driven anything I have wanted. I have always driven what was given to me and now that my husband has told me to pick something out I literally have no idea where to begin. We have less than 30 days to make a purchase. My head wants to explode.

Also, I want to eat pizza hut pizza so bad. WTF baby?

@trollsniper OMG I am SO glad I am not alone. Not that pizza hut is the worst pizza, but being originally from the Chicago burbs... there's a standard of pizza. But omg a cheese pan pizza and bread sticks sounds SO FUCKING GOOD I'm like salivating looking at their website right now... @__@

I must scold you right now. You are from the Chicagoland area and you want Pizza Hut pizza? Is it because your baby is currently living north of the cheese curtain that you are craving crap pizza? Perhaps you have forgotten your delicious pizza roots. You need to head south for a visit!


Onto your car. I agree. I had no idea what I wanted and didn't really care. I begged my hubby to just pick something out. Once I'm in a car I don't even notice what I am driving anymore. That being said--we settled on a Mazda 5. It's a MINI minivan-a microvan. I never thought I would say this...but I love it. It's the sliding doors. It sold me. Bet you could get a used one just a few years old within your price range. We got one brand new FULLY loaded for $25 out the door.

Thanks for the tip. I am totally looking at Japanese cars. Haven't run across many mazdas yet. Mostly toyotas and subarus. Hoping to find the one soon!

@trollsniper order is placed and I'm about to walk out the door to grab milk for breakfast on my way to pick it up. LOL Pan pizza with the new garlic crust and an order of breadsticks.

Try a Mazda 3. I drive one as my work car. Great car! I purchased it new and it now has over 200,000 miles ( I drive 3 hours a day commuting).

DH changed my contact name in is phone to Big Belly - like in the Talk Dirty to Me song where he says "Got her saved in my phone under big booty."

I didn't believe he actually did it, but he just told Siri to call Big Belly and sure enough, my phone rang.

I guess my confession is that I feel like I should be mad about this, but it just cracks me up.

Update: The pizza was pretty crappy but hit the spot. I ate 2 slices and 3 breadsticks and ready to go into a food coma. Contemplating playing a video game to keep me awake... but I really need to stalk dealership websites.. Dx
