Good morning ladies!! I have a terrible cold and I had to come in to work. This is my second day back from bereavement, so I kinda had to come in yesterday and today. DS did not want me to come in as well and it broke my heart.

On a positive note, I have challenged myself to drink a gallon of water everyday. This is my 3rd day of no tea, soda, or juices. Only water. I'm a little freaked out at how dehydrated I was. After chugging only water the last 2 days, I have only used the restroom 1 or 2 more times that usual and my urine is still pretty yellow. I do feel better though and I crave water like crazy now.

ETA: Big news for my big boy! We finally got DS out of our bed and bedroom!! We were co-sleeping and it was finally time. We cleaned out his "baby" room, took out the crib/toddler bed, changing table and dresser, put in the new baby room (still needs work) and put in a full size bed and matching dresser in his room. He is so excited. I've been laying down until he falls asleep and sometimes sleeping with him to make the transition easier, but tonight is the night he will be all alone.

@willvilljill, I'm going to go with the get laid idea. I wouldn't use the word mundane to describe my days recently.

Getting together with the family tonight to put care packages together for the troops. I still have to go buy some stuff to contribute. I woke up with back cramps and then they moved to the front. Currently they are coming and going so I don't really feel like doing anything right now. It's been a tough week and I'm glad it's almost over.

So I do have good news. He must have took our talk seriously. He called me on his 15 minute break to tell me he did cancel that random bill we had.

So That just leaves us for now with waiting out our phone bill and me down grading our plan and setting up auto pay for a discount. And canceling Haileys karate next month since shes now bored of it and doesn't want to do it now after a year. All of that right there will be saving around $450 just with those cancelations and down grading.

My friend just called me. She and another friend are hosting a baby shower for next weekend. One friend lives about an hour and half away. The other friend lives with her dad, so we are having it at my house. Well, friend 1 just called and asked if they could spend the night at my house in case they drink too much and can't drive. 1. the party starts at noon, and they want to come over at 9am to set up. The party is until 4pm. How much are they planning on drinking that they need to spend the night? I am going to be exhausted, and I have to deal with my wasted friends???I am hoping they won't want to once the party is over. We normally have evening showers (these are my wine loving group of girls) so we end up spending the night, or our husbands come pick us up. 

To be clear: I am not at all wanting them to drive home drunk. I would much rather they spend the night than drive home drunk. My sister lost her right arm in a drunk driving accident 3 years ago, so we are very responsible with our (and our friends' drinking).

Someone told me about the Solly baby wrap and I think they are adorable.

Mine does, I even asked my husband and he was all--yep, we should just take a picture and make cat butt coasters out of your belly button. (does this mean my belly is hairy too?)

My belly button totally looks like a cat butt. A cat butt with a weird piercing scar above it that is now stretched out and gross.

That is great! I feel like this is the first positive thing I have heard that has happened to you in a long time! Hopefully it keeps up!

@mirigirl - One of each.  A soft-structured carrier is great because there is virtually no learning curve and you can get baby on and off really quickly.  A wrap is great because you can adjust it to your body and baby perfectly, and if you get one that isn't stretchy it it will last newborn-toddler years. 

ETA: As for types, my recommendation would be an Ergo for the structured carrier and a Little Frog for a wrap.  If you want to get a stretchy wrap to try out and see how you like it the Moby is great and relatively cheap.

I rolled up my area rug and a couple minutes later felt a crazy sharp pain. I'm sitting on the couch drinking water now cause I do not want to over do it. We have a lot to move out of the house tomorrow so I cannot be hurting myself.

No gestational diabetes for me!!! Yay!! Just got my 28 week labs back! Vitamin D still a little low, but otherwise everything looks great! Woo hoo!

Yeah a whole hell of alot thats good just seems to never come my or DH's way for some reason. When it does I'm beyond grateful for finally catching a break.

It was actually pretty nice sleeping in and I'm not grumpy today. Yay!

DS is in a MUCH better mood today and has spent all morning on my tablet. He may just be earning himself a McDonald's date with playplace time after school today

I thought I remembered seeing someone say something about having a Galaxy Note tablet on here a little while back..? If this was the case or anyone does, is there something with the settings I need to mess with to be able to post to TB? It lets me use my keyboard for everything BUT TB and I hate bumping on my phone. Also, my battery is dying pretty quick lately. I let it die completely before I charge it so I don't think I'm overcharging it. I kill all of the apps every time I use them, too. Maybe I just need to cut back my Sims time lol. I can't find my little book on it and I know I could Google it but I thought I'd ask around for users I know first. Please and thanks in advance

Just got back from my 28-wk sono, and it was worth the wait. The doc even did 3D to try to get me some good shots of S's face, but LO was feeling shy and hid in her arms. But she also put on a little show for us; she kept grabbing her foot, and the doc got a good pic of it. She's flipped so is head-down (yay), and her feet are where I thought they were: in my right side. She's been very kicky/pokey lately. Doc is concerned about her size and how it might be related to GD (my test is Monday). She's measuring as big as most LOs at 30 weeks at 3+lbs. DDs were absolutely perfect throughout the appt, to my huge relief. They seemed really fascinated by the whole sono process. All in all, it was an awesome appt.

@acpruchnik - my dell tablet does that.  It is really aggravating.  It runs windows and I haven't figured out how to fix it yet.  So you aren't alone, but I don't have any answers for you.

Happy Friday all!

I'm having an extremely short day. Went to the pool this morning and back to the office just before 10am. There's an all hands meeting with food at 1pm, ends at 4pm with dessert (I'd have to escape before then so I don't get tempted to ruin my GD diet). I'll go home directly to get dressed up for the holiday party tonight at 8pm. We're attending DH's work holiday party tomorrow.  These are our last dressy parties without parental responsibilities! I'm really excited!

Today is the set up for our huge holiday vendor fair at my high school. My husband and I are part of the 4-person team in charge of this, so it has been a ton of work. We had to teach all day and now will be here until 10 tonight getting the 180 vendors registered and set up. The actual holiday fair is tomorrow and Sunday.

While it is a ton of fun, it is also super stressful because some of these vendors are crazy and downright rude. I normally have lots of patience with them, but I'm pregnant obviously and can't deal with assholes at the moment. Cross your fingers that I keep my shit together and don't lose it on some vendors.

@michelle142 like freshly showered dick. I was shocked at how vivid the dream was too. In the dream I was so surprised by the flavor being so realiztic that I offered one to DH to taste.
