XP from IF: Tell me about your natural FET cycle

We are planning one in January. We got two weeks into a medicated cycle and I had to stop because the meds were making me crazy. Also, I've had the most luck with natural cycles (two spontaneous pregnancies) and have had issues with 'thin' lining on medicated/IVF cycles. So it feels right to me to do a natural cycle. I ovulate regularly and have a pretty 'text book' cycle, O on CD 12-15, 27-28 day length. 

Has anyone done one? How did it work out? How did it compare to medicated? What did your RE say about it?. How did you monitor ovulation? Ultrasounds? Bloodwork? OPKs? 

Any and all info appreciated!

We had success with a natural FET cycle.  Our fresh IVF didn't work out, and since we were dealing with MFI, the RE said I would be a good candidate for a natural FET.  I used OPK and also went in for blood work for monitoring and internal ultrasounds.  I liked that I didn't have to take any medications.  Our son was born this past August, and we will try for another baby in about 2-3 years.  We have 6 frosties waiting at the clinic.  Best of luck to you.
