Hi, Ladies! I have lurked here for awhile now and have posted here and there. I thought it would be a good time to come out of the woodwork.
My DH and I have been married for 7 years and we have 2 children. DD is 6 and in first grade, and DS just turned 4 and is in preschool. I am a SAHM, but before that I was a 4th grade teacher. DS is in private speech (mainly for a severe stutter--last 9 months or so-- and also some memory/processing "stuff") as well as OT (fine motor and some sensory seeking behaviors). He is in his 1st year of preschool through our public school. He has a speech IEP and is on a "watch list" for his OT issues. He goes 5 days a week and I have already seen vast improvements--especially with his fine motor skills. His teacher has also said he is doing well with the processing and sensory seeking too.
Every post I have read has been nothing but supportive and positive. I am glad to be a part of the group!
