They look super comfy. THESE are my favorite pants right now, though. I have them in black and I wish I could wear them ALL THE TIME.

@krayz im not in Texas im in Maryland lol I think you might have me confused with @lawsonellis she is in Texas (im only sharing that because she has posted that fact on this thread)

    Yep that's me! :)

I'm in TX too. @lawsonellis, where are you in TX?

Houston! Kinda central- near Rice Village. What about you?

ETA: premature submission. Happens to the best of us.

Fort Worth - right near TCU.

Have you ever tried the food truck salsas on berry street?

No but this sounds like something I need to investigate! Where are you @thetoms?

I'm in keene. I found them while looking for late night food
  • Be prepared and pack a little ahead of time, maybe 2 weeks? My water broke at 1 am while I was 32 weeks. It was a bitch to waddle around the house with towels stuffed between my legs and pack a bag. Other than the items listed on previous posts I would mention PUPPY PADS for the car! If your water breaks, it may continue to trickle. And definitely get a car seat with a base. Have the base already set up, so all you do is latch in baby, attach car seat to base, and go home. Also, I left my jewelry at home.
  • @jcar2 Thanks! I might bring my binder just in case of emergency c section.

@Darbie914‌ Your old hospital sounds like it provided a lot more than the new one. Why is a binder good even for a vbac? Does it help with the swelling? And thanks for the info! :)
  • In my previous experiences, the hospitals wouldn't let baby go home without a proper car seat for baby.

Also... I have been looking at the articles about what to bring to the hospital, some things mentioned are things I had never thought of. When I went on the tour of the birthing center, the nurse giving the tour made some helpful recommendations, too, as she knew the hospital very well.

@DragonFlyDreaming The binder just helped me feel more "pulled in" in terms of having a saggy belly and also with back support.  Once DD was born, my belly was pretty loose and it just felt better to have it....contained?  Lol instead of it being all over the place.

I used the one the hospital gave me and I also used a Belly Bandit about a week after delivery.  However, the BB would sometimes ride up and you could tell I was wearing it under clothes, so I only wore it around the house.  This time I have 2 different types that I'm looking into but they are on the pricier side.  I'm not sure yet if I'm going to pull the plug and purchase one yet.
I'm so out of it. When you mentioned a "binder", I thought you were talking about a 3-prong binder, like they use in school. My brain... oh man.
