Need a convertible car seat

DD is turning 1 and is outgrowing her infant seat.  Is it possible to get a good convertible car seat for under $150?  What do you recommend??  Thanks in advance!

With your budget, I'd highly recommend the Graco Size4Me.  The Size4Me is sold at BuyBuyBaby and you can use a 20% off coupon on it so your cost should be about $144.  It has a very tall rearfacing limit, so your baby will hit 40 pounds and need to be turned forward facing before they hit the hight limit.

There are other versions of this seat (basically the same exact thing with small variables in fabrics) sold in different stores.  The other names of this seat are the Headwise, MySize 65, Contender, and the Fit4Me.

Just adding- do not be confused by the MyRide.... It's often on sale on Amazon but it is NOT one of the 'clones'. It takes up much more space and will not last as long.

Thanks ladies!  I have the Britax travel system for when my baby was much smaller but really don't want to pay that kind of money again.  I'll check out the Graco4me on Amazon.

I have an Evenflo SureRide and I like (we actually have 2 plus one in each grandparent's car). High rear-facing and forward facing limits and I think its only $100 in the US.

I would check out a facebook group called Car Seat Deals.  Many deals are posted there.  Some ladies were able to snap a Chicco Nexfit for around $120 not too long ago.  I recently bought a Diono Radian Rxt from Kohl's for $219 but with $40 Kohl's cash and $12 cash back from ebates which isn't a bad deal!  I know that's still a bit over your budget though.
