I'm sorry to be short yet again but I'm still on mobile visiting family on the west coast. I went in for my second beta on Sunday at 14dp5dt and it went from 1690 to 3300, so the nurses were very pleased, but again questioned possible identical twins, which doesn't run in my family at all. My ultrasound is scheduled for 12/8, so until then I wait!!
I don't know how this works now. Do I get to stay here through my sonogram or is it best if I switch to PAIF? Any advice would be welcome. If I quit updating, I will still be lurking nonstop.
@carrieharry79 I believe fraternal twins are possibly hereditary, but identical twins are just random! This is the first time I'm part of an IVF group so I don't know what most ppl do after a BFP? I would imagine as long as you put a warning at the top of your post it should be ok until check-ins are done? I don't see why not

I changed my name from 14cath to 14runner. I don't know if my old posts got lost or disappeared because of my name change.
@jeezidunno and @cwoodward777 - so sorry for the negative news-this process is even harder than I thought it would be. @wcasar - hang in there, it sucks being at work and getting the news. I got my first IVF negative at work and I had to leave to "get coffee" just to get some air.
I have my beta tomorrow morning, but we only transferred one and our clinics frozen transfers are less successful than fresh so I don't think it'll be positive, but because I mostly don't think it'll be positive I think maybe I'll be caught off guard and I'll be wrong and then I become a little hopeful.
AFM: I don't have good news either... I went for my WTF appointment and I have waited 2 weeks to listen "oh I am sorry, but we have tried everything so I recommend you to look for a second opinion or try donor eggs". After only 2 failures, my RE gave up on us. That's definitely not what I expected.. So now I have no idea what to do next, and if there is a next..
@mariana81 - I'm so sorry. That's shocking that only after 2 failures they would give up like that. Are you going to get a second opinion? I feel like doctors are so different in their approach. My doctor said I'd have to have a few more failures before he'd even become concerned because it can just be the roll of the dice with odds. Don't give up!

You are totally right @cwoodward777 , as IF was not enough, I also have to deal with such a disappointment.. I still can believe she said that awful words to me..
@14runner thank you for your support, I will try to find at least 2 other REs to listen another opinion. But the headache of starting all over again sucks (
@mbreed7 - Congrats on your POAS positive! Was this your first IVF cycle?

@mbreed7 - congrats on the good news, that's very exciting!!
I had my beta today and I was shocked it was a 104! Totally shocked! I have so many mixed emotions. I'm so excited, but still incredibly nervous.
@Mariana81 how frustrating! I can't believe your RE would bail on you!
@jeezidunno I continue to send you really warm thoughts, and definitely take care of yourself. IF is one of the best examples of how unfair life can be that I've personally run into so far in my life. It just sucks.
I think I've officially kicked OHSS's butt My weight and abdominal girth haven't changed much since Sunday and I have been feeling pretty good physically. I'm still waiting on my nurse to give me the go ahead to stop having to pee in a urine hat (I've also had to measure that too, fun!). I'm looking forward to freely peeing directly into a toilet LOL Though the hat will come in handy if I decide to POAS during my FET cycle. I was usually beta or bust with my IUIs but I don't know if I'll be able to control myself after a transfer.
Congrats to all the BFPs. Hugs to those with BFNs.
Edit: because it's afternoon now, not the morning!

"Forget all the reasons why it won't work and believe in the one reason why it will"
AF started last evening. I was glad because I was worried it might be delayed because of the # of follicles I had and cuz of the OHSS putting more stress on my body. Definitely no way we could even try to squeeze in a December FET since transfer would likely end up on Xmas eve when the clinic is completely closed (the clinic is only completely shut down for 3 days a year, of course it's when I would need them!) But i think a break cycle to recover from this IVF cycle is probably a good idea. All I hope for now is this ivf cycle doesn't cause any delay in me ovulating on time so I can have a January FET.
It would be weird though if it works in January (also assuming AF is on schedule), cuz the EDD would probably be very very close to my loss from almost 3 years ago. Off by probably no more then a week. I dunno why I thought of that. It felt kinda sad, but in a good way, if that makes any sense ?? OK enough rambling. Thanks for listening!!
