  • I changed my name from 14cath to 14runner. I don't know if my old posts got lost or disappeared because of my name change. @jeezidunno and @cwoodward777‌ - so sorry for the negative news-this process is even harder than I thought it would be. @wcasar‌ - hang in there, it sucks being at work and getting the news. I got my first IVF negative at work and I had to leave to "get coffee" just to get some air. I have my beta tomorrow morning, but we only transferred one and our clinics frozen transfers are less successful than fresh so I don't think it'll be positive, but because I mostly don't think it'll be positive I think maybe I'll be caught off guard and I'll be wrong and then I become a little hopeful.
  • Congrats all BFPs ladies! I am very happy for you!!

     @jeezidunno , @cwoodward777 and‌ @wcasar I am so sorry, my heart breaks for you! ((hugs))‌

    AFM: I don't have good news either... I went for my WTF appointment and I have waited 2 weeks to listen "oh I am sorry, but we have tried everything so I recommend you to look for a second opinion or try donor eggs". After only 2 failures, my RE gave up on us. That's definitely not what I expected.. So now I have no idea what to do next, and if there is a next..

    TTC since May 2013, w/ RE since July 2014

    Me: 33 Poor responder, Low AMH
    DH: 32 Severe MFI
    09/2014 IVF #1 - Antagonist Protocol - 2 immature eggs
    11/2014 IVF #2 - Micro Flare Lupron - 3 immature eggs
    Please forgive my writing mistakes, english is my second language.

  • @mariana81‌ - I'm so sorry. That's shocking that only after 2 failures they would give up like that. Are you going to get a second opinion? I feel like doctors are so different in their approach. My doctor said I'd have to have a few more failures before he'd even become concerned because it can just be the roll of the dice with odds. Don't give up!
  • @mariana81 - That is so shitty of your RE.  Sorry.  ((HUGS))

    @14runner - GL with your beta tomorrow!

    @carrieharry79 - Awesome increase!!

    @kaly75 - Awesome increase!!

  • Thanks @cwoodward777‌! Yes this was my first IVF cycle.
  • @Mariana81 how frustrating! I can't believe your RE would bail on you!

    @jeezidunno I continue to send you really warm thoughts, and definitely take care of yourself. IF is one of the best examples of how unfair life can be that I've personally run into so far in my life. It just sucks.

  • Thanks @14runner‌ and congrats on your beta!!
  • *prev. loss mentioned*

    Hi ladies :) I'm mobile so formatting might be off.

    AF started last evening. I was glad because I was worried it might be delayed because of the # of follicles I had and cuz of the OHSS putting more stress on my body. Definitely no way we could even try to squeeze in a December FET since transfer would likely end up on Xmas eve when the clinic is completely closed (the clinic is only completely shut down for 3 days a year, of course it's when I would need them!) But i think a break cycle to recover from this IVF cycle is probably a good idea. All I hope for now is this ivf cycle doesn't cause any delay in me ovulating on time so I can have a January FET.

    It would be weird though if it works in January (also assuming AF is on schedule), cuz the EDD would probably be very very close to my loss from almost 3 years ago. Off by probably no more then a week. I dunno why I thought of that. It felt kinda sad, but in a good way, if that makes any sense ?? OK enough rambling. Thanks for listening!!
